Visited the Ralph's Corner Store today. Karen was awesome, She suggested different styles for me to try and inserts for my comfort because I have plantar fasciitis. Shoe shopping for me is often a chore but she made it a joyful experience. ~Carolyn

I have 2 different home-based businesses. BBT/Truist business checking is totally free, no minimum balance. I opened 2 checking accounts to keep my finances separate without any additional fees. Valerie was very knowledgeable and helpful in setting up the accounts. When I forgot my password and couldn’t access online banking, I called her, snd she reissued the code by mail, no problem. The drive-thru can be slow, but the tellers there are cheerful and accurate. I really like this bank, and am grateful for their professionalism and the money I’ve saved on business checking. Also the online checking layout is the cleanest and most user-friendly I’ve experienced. My one bad experience was the BBT/Truist phone customer service people agreed to block future recurring subscription payments to my debit card from a company that was charging me monthly and wouldn’t cancel my subscription. The online customer service people thought I just wanted a stop payment on the last charge to be processed. So I paid $35 to stop a $10 charge, and then the monthly $10 charge went through again the next month. That’s why they get 4 stars instead of 5. ~Faith

The worst subway I’ve been to. The young guy in the clear glasses made my sandwich and it was by far the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. Toasting didn’t toast it. Almost no meat on a supreme meat, way too many tomatoes. My food tasted off and sour leaving a weird aftertaste. Two bites and I had to throw it out. Do not come here. ~Q

The employees are friendly and really make an effort to be the friendly bank you go to. Unfortunately, the bank manager (Diana) was misleading and quoted me an exchange rate, but said I could only do it if I opened up a new bank account. So the next day, I went in to open up an account. David (who helped me open it) was very professional and courteous, but once I had completed all the paperwork, and I went to order the money I need exchanged… the bank manager told me she misunderstood my request and that the exchange rate was actually much higher than her prior quote (which I had confirmed with her over the phone yesterday, so if she’s being honest about the misunderstanding, then she was just not listening). And of course, I had already been mislead by her to open up the account, which I was told I had to do before ordering $ for the exchange. Then she had the audacity to tell me that the promotions I was getting with the new account opening would pay for the cost of the rate difference (hard eye roll). The promos are for the inconvenience of opening a new account, switching banks, paperwork, etc. She did say that I could cancel the account (no mention of the inconvenience of wasting 2 hours of my time). Great thanks for stating that option. It’s a shame the day ended that way because my experience there was lovely (until I got to her). ~Nicole

Did you know that you can book a wedding at Boardroom? We had the absolute pleasure of working with Chris and the events team at Boardroom over the last year and a half. Their bar service was outstanding, they were responsive to all day-of and day-before issues, and communicated well with us. And, they were more than willing to take all our extra catering food for their staff (since we were leaving on honeymoon, we couldn't keep it ourselves!) Once we run out of the bottles we've purchased from the wedding, we will be customers for life. I can't thank Boardroom enough for an amazing day and start to the next phase of our lives. ~phil

This is certainly not the newest Wawa in the area, and the sign has been around so long that its logo is showing up on all of the retro merchandise. But, for those in the know, this Wawa is where it’s at. I’ve been to many Wawas around the country, and this is easily my favorite. Being just a convenience store, the employees aren’t also trying to run a gas station, so the quality of food and customer service is better here than others I’ve been to. This certainly isn’t the newest Wawa, and it could definitely use some fixing and more support from corporate, but this is the Wawa I frequent, whether it’s clean or not. It has a quintessential hoagie shop charm that the other stores don’t have, and for that, I give it high praise. ~Paul

Walgreens is very accessible. They are frequently out of prescription medicine 💊 that I need. This is after they call 📞 and say my medications are ready. Other than being out of stock, and disorganized they are just ok, at best! I would not reccomend this store! ~gordon

I would highly recommend going to these guys with any and all questions and camera purchases. Not only do they know their stuff but they get to know you as a person and ask question to get a feel of what you are trying to accomplish. I went into the store with the intent to purchase a pretty expensive lens. The guy without hesitation got the lens and answered all my questions, let me test the lens but then started asking question and got to know what I wanted to capture and accomplish in my pictures. He could have easily sold me this expensive lens with no issues because in my mind this is what I needed and had some knowledge on the lens but not enough to know better. But he took the time to ask questions and get to know what I wanted to capture in my pictures. By him taking the time to ask questions, he recommended another lens that was comparable but would allow me to capture things that were closer to me as well and was an all-in-one lens and was also half the price. He talked to me about the differences between each camera and ultimately left the decision up to me. There was no pressure or me feeling like I was getting taken advantage of. I will absolutely go back to these guys for all my future purchases. ~lynsay

Out of all the 7-Eleven‘s I’ve been in my entire life this is the most absolutely clean one I’ve ever seen. The slushy machine is always clean nothing dripping all over the counters. The soda machine is always stocked and never messy. The hotdogs or anything on the roller machine always looks fresh and clean as well. The owners or the workers are all very nice and helpful and polite. ~Jimmy
