15 Best gas station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PA) 2024

The absolute worst store!! I went in again after last weeks catastrophe and cashier told me it’s ok to overcharge me bc I’m a woman. I called the manager, he never called back. I emailed the corporation last week and nobody contacted me. My husband just called the stand nobody answered. So now I put it on FB! Such a terrible shame to be dealing with this in 2020!!! ~Mary

I frequently go to this sheetz and tonight i went and received by far the worst service yet. I walked to sheetz with my wife (less than a mile away) to pickup a spiked freeze for ourselves. Me and my wife were in line to get our drinks and we were next. Then a supervisor named Angie walks over to help another cashier with the line of just 2 people. She says you can step up if you’re not buying alcohol so we didnt move. She then asked did we have alcohol and i said no but we want to purchase some and she asked then what do we want. I told her we would like 2 spiked freezes. Long island and Red,white, and blue. She asked for both our ID’s and i pulled my wallet out but my wife did not have hers as she didnt bring anything not even her cell phone. She proceeded to say she could not sell my wife alcohol because she didnt have an id. I said alright i will take one red, white and blue because thats the flavored i wanted. Angie then said no because my wife was with me and no id. So now being refused alcohol i said i have a picture in my phone. She waited until i showed her and again she said no and that she cant sell it to either of us now. I said wow ok you asked for id and we showed it. I had also went to get some tobacco products so i kindly asked was i still allowed to purchase tobacco and she said yes… I said ok so i can buy tobacco still but not alcohol? I said dont i need to be 21 for both and she said she doesnt have to id me for tobacco if I look over 30. So at this point im just confused and she started telling me she is refusing the sale altogether and to get out of the store or she was going to call security inching toward what looked to be a panic button. I told her i still have some cereal straws i picked up for my kids in the store before i entered the line. She told me i could still purchase them and pointed to self serve registers. I said i cant pay right here and she said you keep arguing with me im calling security im refusing your sale. At this point i went to the self serve with my wife discussing what just happened to us because it didnt make sense. After purchasing the straws and leaving with not even half of what went went for didnt sit right with us. We felt discriminated against. Me and my wife will send emails to corporate because something needs to be done. I even asked to speak to another manager and she laughed in my face and said no that she was the highest ranking manager on shift and this was at 10:45 pm August 7th. I tried speaking to another older gentleman that I believe runs the shift sometimes and knows I frequently shop there and he didnt seem interested in wanting to help resolve the problem. Im very disappointed as i just moved here from maryland and been going to this sheetz since January and never expected this kind of service because i never have any issues in there. Something needs to be done about Angie. She was was being rude and distasteful. To end my experience i asked for her name and a district managers phone number. She pointed to her badge and said my name is Angie, this is store 115 and you can call this store. I said ok. She told me have a nice night and I responded i cant you just refused to serve me for no reason. And she laughed and smiled. I will be in contact with corporate tomorrow. ~Arthur

I love this gas station and always make a point of swinging by here if I can help it. The drink selections are great, ntbe food is fresh, and the employees are always friendly. ~Adam

It's NO LONGER DECKER'S GULF there's no mechanic Service's it's just a gasoline convenience store with most of the staff extremely standoffish accept Ms.Anna she's been there since it was DECKER'S and she continues to greet each customer with the same Cheery Smile and Good Morning Baby even though it's gas/go now ~BiggDog

Had one of our cars inspected here. Great guys that do honest work. Thanks! A friend recommended them, and I'm sure we'll be back if it's something that they do. They even pump your gas for you. ~Biggworm

This gas station gets a big fat zero stars. I had to give them at least one in order to post this comment Their customer service is the worst if that is even possible for a gas station. I was told never to come back because I asked could I check to see if their Black and Milds were fresh. My friends have also been racially discriminated against at this particular BP. It amazes me that there are still people in the United States that don't get it. The color you should be concerned with is not Black or white but GREEN...unbelievable! ~Lesley

I don't ever pist on gas stations however I've been coming here for years and u seriously feel like family we know all of the staff wonderful people Shelly that lady is amazing she bust her but she is always friendly funny just amazing to deal with I'm here like 4 times a day if I'm on e I go to the gas station by my job put ten bucks in then stop at shell and fill up .just because I enjoy whoever is working at whatever time of the day ...great job to everyone at SHELL we love you guys!!!! ~Shauna

For some reason somebody thought a logical idea to close the pumps at night? Last I checked every gas station ever leaves their pumps open overnight regardless of the physical store being open. Why 2 getgo’s are closed and I’m nearly out of gas is absolutely ridiculous. What are people supposed to do when they need to drive late at night? Let’s use logic in making decisions from now on, thanks ~Alex

This is literally one of the worst GetGo's I've even encountered. It is constantly under-staffed, and even when they do have staff they are made up of the walking dead. I've literally been in there and had to wait 10 minutes for anyone to even come on to the floor and wait on customers. The store routinely has a line of 10-15 people waiting, while the workers ignore customers and talk amongst themselves and ignore everyone waiting. The people they do get are the worst of the worst, and have trouble ringing up a bag of chips. I only stop here because it is next to the interstate on ramp. If Giant Eagle had any pride in their work force they would fire ever single person that works here. ~Eric
