10 Best convenience store in Reading, Pennsylvania (PA) 2024

I can’t understand these reviews. The staff in the pharmacy is always pleasant and the actual pharmacist is great. The service here is better than any other pharmacy in the area and you don’t have to wait in long lines to pick up your scripts. ~Deanna

I have been going there for months and they are friendly. I can't speak for everyone else. But if you don't like the place go somewhere else. I like this gas station. Friendly people, good service. ~Jose

They just got new gas pumps which is great because half of the old ones would jump 50 cents before you ever started pumping. However their new money steaing scam is to advertise one price for gas and then actually sell it to you for more on those new pumps. Guess they need to steal from us to pay for those new pumps. Otherwise the store has improved in cleanliness and the employees are also pleasant there. ~Kelly

Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. Great alternative to some of the larger more crowded discount stores. ~Karen

I’m a student at the highschool a short walk from this RiteAid and have spent 100’s at this store picking up toiletries, cleaning supplies, pet food, snacks etc. I’ve never had a problem with the staff until today, after I initially walked in, I was perusing the aisles for about 10 minutes and one of the staff members started to follow me around. I went to the next and the next aisle and she continued to follow me until she tapped my shoulder and told me the store had implemented a new policy that required I leave my bag at the register. Not wanting to be humiliated any more around other shoppers, I put my bag by the register and the cashier thanked me for being understanding. I think it’s very convenient this policy only applied to me and had they told me sooner into my errand run I would have left and saved myself the humiliation. Not only is this extremely unprofessional but dare I say racially motivated, put a sign up and show me “the policy” or apologize for stereotyping young adults. I will never be shopping here again and I would recommend not shopping here either. ~Madelin

Honestly I would have to say they are a good store but I miss the woman who used to be at the counter here. She was always so very friendly. The store needs people who can help clean it up and open the isles up. I know this is not always the fault of the employees as much as management because corporations just do not give enough payroll for the workload that needs to be completed. People here now just need to be alittle more friendly and motivated. ~Jessica
