Best diagnostic center in Reading, Pennsylvania (PA) 2024

I had to take my 5 year old to get bloodwork this morning. It was his first time. He was scared and crying and didn't want to come sit on my lap. I was trying to get him to come on his own rather then force him if I didn't have to. I asked the lady working if she has any suggestions for working with kids. No. That was it, just no. So he is yelling and screaming that he is scared, I'm next to tears trying to forcefully hold him on my lap and the now two ladies just stand there. No encouragement, no suggestions, no trying to help ensure him. Just stand there. Finally they get it done and the one says, there you did it. The only semi encouraging thing the whole time. I say thank you and apologize for the hard time. They say nothing. Not, it's OK, hes only 5 we understand, no worries, nothing. He starts saying he needs a tissue, while he is still crying, and I am telling him we have some in the car. Think one of them could offer a tissue? Nope. Was this the first child they ever had there? They certainly didn't seem like they knew how to work with them. I will never be taking him back there. ~Amanda
