Miller's Smorgasbord Restaurant

Good food and friendly staff. Our waitress did a great job. They are under staffed and under presure to keep up with the demand in this popular tourist destination. Good food and clean. Interior has a lot of Amish photos of a barn raising and children. Price of over $30 for adults including your drink is too high. This is what keeps me from returning here more often. I could not afford to bring my family here when my chidren were growing up and my wife feels the price is just not worth it. Children under 12 are $11. My grandson could never eat $11 worth of food. ~John

Amish Store 31

Nice quiet place in the middle of farmland. Nice store with lots of things to buy. The ice cream and soft pretzels are very good! You can sit out by the animals and enjoy your ice cream and pretzels or sit on the deck and feed the goats. My wife and I don't live far from this place so we are planning to stop here often. πŸ‘πŸ˜β€οΈ ~Gary

Route 30 Diner

If you are looking for a good home cooked meal in a all American setting, no where better than the Rte. 30 Diner in Ronks, PA. We pulled in at 7:50P.M. on Saturday night not aware they close at 8:00P.M., were seated and served by Lindsey. She was so friendly and served us with a smile the whole time. We were just seated and the other waitress went out to flip the open sign to closed. We would not have ordered if we had known that (our bad). Never the less Lindsey was terrific and said it was no bother for her as she went about her business preparing for the next day. We ordered chopped sirloin with mushrooms and onions and a sirloin steak with fried shrimp and we both had mashed potatoes with gravy. As you can see plenty of food. Everything was just as ordered and very good. I asked if I could take some pictures inside and without any hesitation was told absolutely. The Diner experience is really one of the last all American old school dinning traditions left, it was fun and the food and service was simply the best. Stop in and enjoy the atmosphere and food and ask for Lindsey, she was the best. ~James
