I had not been to Miller's in 5 years. It was still simply fantastic! The food buffet was beautifully presented. The food was fresh and well seasoned. It all tasted good! There was much to choose from! Our server was very attentive to our 8 member party. I will continue to make Miller's my go to when visiting Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, Pa.

I had never been to Miller's and I have heard so much about the great Pennsylvania Dutch home cooking of the restaurant. Being born and raised in Lancaster, but since having moved away, I thought it was time to go since we were meeting friends from NC and they were touring the area. I had bragged about this being great home cooking. I certainly would not call this home cooking. First trip was to the soup bar for homemade chicken corn soup. There was mostly broth, no eggs or no rivvels(small flour like dumplings) and small chunks of chicken . Decided to try potato soup. .. watered down. Most of the food I tried on buffet was lukewarm. Carving station had beef, turkey and ham. Turkey and ham were good but beef was tough. Chicken pot pie had small pieces of chicken with mostly broth and carrots... noodles (not sure if they were home made)..certainly not like I'm used to. Italian sausage with marinara sauce, shrimp and other such items...definitely not comfort food . Fried chicken was ok. Again, most of what I tried was not hot. Most of the food we tried should have been hotter. Creamed cabbage was good but there were very hard pieces . Potatoe filling and homemade mashed potatoes would have been good if hot. Then to dessert for bread pudding which was good but again not warm enough. And where was the shoo fly pie? Beverages are extra at $2.99. The cost of the buffet is $27.99 per person. Quite steep for the quality of food. And on top of this we waited for 1 hr. So I would suggest reservations. Our server was friendly and efficient. I think this restaurant has turned into a "Tourist Trap" as I have heard from friends and family in the past that this was the best smorgasbord around.

It was a great buffet. Plenty of choices, even real local ice cream at the end. Different made food from what we know in California. Chicken pot pie of example. The roast beef was very tender and tasty. Busy. Get there early 4 and after for shorter waits.

The amount of positive reviews on this buffet baffles me. I was even warned by a friend not to come here, but regrettably, I did not heed the warning. The freshness of the food was overall "okay." Interestingly, the freshness varied by buffet line. The line of hot entrees nearest to our table was hot but clearly a bit aged, whereas the line of hot entrees on the opposite side closer to the exit was fresh. I could have forgiven the varying freshness if the food were actually tasty and flavorful, but everything was borderline tasteless. The fried chicken just tasted like salt and had a dreadful aftertaste. Come to think of it, everything had a funky aftertaste. The situation did not improve with dessert. The bread pudding had the same funky aftertaste. We drove home with upset stomachs. On top of all this, I felt bad for the staff. They were literally running around due to not enough people working. This place was definitely not worth the price. I would advise driving two miles down the road to Hershey Farm - now that's a buffet to write home about!

Good food and friendly staff. Our waitress did a great job. They are under staffed and under presure to keep up with the demand in this popular tourist destination. Good food and clean. Interior has a lot of Amish photos of a barn raising and children. Price of over $30 for adults including your drink is too high. This is what keeps me from returning here more often. I could not afford to bring my family here when my chidren were growing up and my wife feels the price is just not worth it. Children under 12 are $11. My grandson could never eat $11 worth of food.

Been here TWICE and it definitely won't be my last. Reservations are highly recommended and each time I have come to visit, I check in, and within a matter of minutes we are sitting down and getting ready to eat. Every employee that we come into contact with was polite and had a smile on there face, which goes to show they care about there customers! One very special experience I had was last night (Saturday [April 30] our reservation was for 6:15 & our waitress was OUTSTANDING, one of the best waitresses I have come across in all my dining experiences, always had a smile on her face and continued check ins to make sure we were satisfied! Overall fantastic selection of food and can't wait for our next trip!

Beautiful environment! I have gone to shady maple and Millers is much more quieter and elegant. I can see why some would prefer Millers, the ambiance is unique. They have mastered a grand buffet but with an elegant atmosphere. All of the food was delicious. Waiter was amazing and attentive but not overly inquisitive. Will definitely go back to eat. However, the wine shop, which I was interested in was open. I opened the door and the lady working behind the counter yelled out, extremely loud, that they were closed. Very unprofessional to scream out like that in front of people. Next time, lock the door. We were there 2/18/22, at 4:45 and waited for over 1.5 hours. Make a reservation to avoid that.

The buffet had all my favorite foods, including a carving station with nice rare roast beef, turkey, and ham. There was also baked chicken and fried chicken, plus a few other meaty options. The desserts never fail to please here. If you like a la mode don't miss the ice cream. It's not obvious, but there's a server there at the dessert section who will scoop out some ice cream for you as part of the buffet. The coffee was delicious and the service was very nice.

We've been coming down here for years and I don't know that we've eaten here before. We stayed over night - which is rare since we are only a couple of hours away - so this was lunch/dinner on our way out of town. BUT I guarantee this will be the first stop on our agenda next time we visit. The Smorgasbord was amazing - carved meats, chicken and waffles,, hot sides, soups and salads of all kinds... then there's dessert if you have any room left! I was sorry I wasn't hungrier when we arrived as I would have liked to sample more, but the one thing that I loved that I never had before was baked cabbage - so good. Definitely a must visit when you are in the area! They move people through pretty efficiently and the food area is spread out so you aren't really tripping over each other. Very nice set up.
