Best bar in Charleston, South Carolina (SC) 2024

First time visiting! I stopped by after the performance I attended at the Gaillard Center. The Google search said it was a local longstanding favorite. A handful of tables and an eclectic license plate wall is a focal point. I love pizza and this was average. I understand they may cater to the college kids but I've had better in other college towns. It was a little pricey for a one topping 12"; about $17 with tax. I will say it tasted better once warmed up in my hotel room so 🤷🏾‍♀️ Maybe I need to try again if I come back that way. ~Victoria

After all the hype and good reviews I read I went in to give it a try. I was disappointed. It's a regular burger nothing special. The chicken was okay the veggie burger was better but still not great. It's a hole in the wall bar with top notch prices meaning expensive. They didn't have any beer on tap. Had a punk rock kind of feel to it the freezer behind the bar was held together with red tape. I also didn't like getting my water out of a igloo cooler. ~Kamil

Always pretty enjoyable, music can be a bit,meh. Sometimes the beat goes hard, guess it depends on the DJ I would definitely consider this a bar not a club. Tho they tried, still looks lovely and well kept, only issue are the very young crowd. I've found that since it's by a collage a few underage people do go their. If your looking to party with 20 year olds children its definitely a hot spot for it. ~Sonja
