Best discount store in Laurens, South Carolina (SC) 2024

I went in yesterday to do some shopping and saw a sign that read, “””face mask required “”” people were walk around the store without a care in the world for themselves or others. A few people did have theirs on—- thank you to them may God bless you. But to the other folks shame on you... moving on to the cashiers,, Look!!! personal business should not be talked about in front of customers. Two young ladies were airing out their dirty laundry in front of every customer they checked out. Who cares about baby mama drama???? We as customers do not. When checking out a customer that is supposed to be your main focus or errors can a cure such as giving back the wrong change, ringing up something wrong, missed items in the buggy and more. Also as I entered the store the day before the lady who unlocked the door for customers to enter, didn’t part her lips to be friendly at all. No hi how are you. No welcome to the store how are you today— NOTHING!!! that’s hateful and you do not need to be working in the public with a nasty unkindly attitude. The company head person may need to do a pop in visit to see for themselves how this store is ran. Roses have great prices and some have a better selection than others but all there stores should have friendly staff that are there for a reason— to help. I don’t mind speaking or asking how are you but if you have a nasty attitude,,prejudice and just don’t like dealing with the public,, GO WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE... ~Aries

It must be nice having a job where the store is a wreck, employees sitting outside with friends possible other employees smoking pot like always "not the forst time" and no one in the store to help you. Super USELESS wow anyone would wa t to get paid like that! ~Yvonne

Generally very clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great deals on clearance and sale items, and a great place to go in a quick bind. Sometimes the line is long, but it is noticeable that they strive for speedy checkout, and have often opened a second register in those instances. The parking lot is huge, with easy navigation. ~Jessica

I've not been in family dollar in a long time. But I have to say I was very surprised they have a little bit of everything. But most importantly the service was absolutely 💯great. I even told the cashier and the people working on the floor how surprised I was. They were awesome employees and I was very impressed with their service. And that I would be back. Not many people like that anymore. And I truly appreciated their help and time. So thank you FAMILY DOLLAR. SUSAN. ~susan
