Depends on the day. Great lunch experience a couple days ago. Bought wife down for dinner. Must have been slammed with to go orders. We got drinks and they never took our order after a good 15 minutes. The to go tickets had lined up on the grill by then. Paid for my tea and we walked out . Only 2 tables had people in them plus our table. They trying to run it with 2 employees. Starving . Had to leave . ~Rick

Incredible customer service. Everyone there will help you with all your Ace hardware needs. Mimie is knowledgeable and friendly. I think she runs the store. You will never find this kind of service at Lowe's or Home Depot. Perfect spot for all of your plumbing jobs. Kudos to all of the employees. Fantastic job. ~Rick

The owners of this hardware store were rude, uncaring and unhelpful. We were traveling on a fishing trip and had one of the guide boards on our boat trailer break after we launched our boat. We needed to replace the board in order to get our boat back out of the water. All we needed was a treated 2x6 that was 8 1/2 feet long. We went to Daniels and told them what we needed, they informed us that all they had were 12 foot 2x6's and that they could cut it in half, but they would not cut it to 8' 6". I pleaded with them and told them that the cut did not even have to be exact but they were insistent that they would only cut the board in the middle, and they would not cut the end of for us. I explained to them that we were traveling and just needed the board to fix our trailer but they refused. They claimed that their insurance company would only allow them to cut a board in half and that they were not allowed to cut the end off the board. At that point we asked if there was another lumber yard in town and he said "I don't know". A later internet search revealed that there were several. We ended up having to buy a hand saw from them and cut off the end of the board in their parking lot. ~Roger

I rented a 5x8 enclosed trailer for the weekend. Online checkout was seamless and when I arrived, I completed paperwork and was out the door in 10 minutes. The owner, I think, even helped me hook up the trailer. It seems like this should be normal service, but in most cases it is not these days.
