Best pet store in El Paso, Texas (TX) 2024

My wife and I are avid reptile keepers. We stopped at this petsmart and noticed this upon entry. Leopard geckos CANNOT physically digest vegetables, they are insectivores. Feeding a leopard gecko this will indefinitely impact and kill the reptile. I brought it up to the cashier so he could notify the pet care dept and the cashier told me “oh no it’s okay we feed them this.” And showed me a pack of Mazuri reptile pellets as if I couldn’t tell the difference between seeing a juvenile gecko eat a carrot as opposed to solid brown pellets. please refrain from taking animal care advice from this store. ~Alexis
