Best toy store in Friendswood, Texas (TX) 2024

Today was a very hectic day and I felt pretty down. I visited this location and interacted with an employee named Lori. She really brightened up my day. She was very helpful and professional as well as cheery even after dealing with a disgruntled customer. It's really sad that people bring their problems to others because of their unhappiness. I frequent this location a lot but never really interacted with Lori. I guess she's a back up cashier. Regardless, she put a smile on my face which uplifted me just a bit. Better woman than I am because that customer would have stayed under my skin at least the next 24 hrs. Anyway, I love this location because their always organized, well stocked and I've never seen their restroom dirty/smelly as I have at other stores. I actually drive past many stores to get to this particular one. Thank you to all the employees holding it together as some people lose their minds in this crazy and unpredictable world we live in today. Ty ~Sherryl

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My 14-year-old sister was browsing for some products and when it came time to decide what she wanted to buy she decided that some Hello Kitty hair ties were out of her price range, so she decided to leave them and proceed to buy some other products. When it came time to pay the store employee Corinne D. started insinuating that my sister was planning to steal the hair ties. My sister explained that she saw the price, decided to not purchase them, and left them somewhere in the store. The rude employee proceeded to tell her that she would have to check her H&M shopping bag and was going to check her personal small backpack, but in the end, decided not to. The employee checked the H&M bag and made my sister go get the hair ties from where she had left them. In the end, the employee was satisfied with her search and interrogation and let her go, but never even apologized for the horrible time she made her go through. Would never visit again. I understand that employees need to make sure stealing doesn't happen, but harassing a 14-year-old is not a good way. The employee should have approached it in a different way. Hope management teaches their employees basic customer service skills. ~Kimberly
