A1 Express Car Care

0 stars. They wrote us a hot check for a reman transmission and refused to make it right. Made us file with the district attorney. A good, honorable business does not treat their vendors like this. If they will treat us like this no telling what they are capable of. Take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable repair shops out there. ~Jerol

Ross Dress for Less

Interesting selection and deals, but one thing you'll notice right away when it's busy, is there are typically 1 or 2 cashiers at most with at least 4 asset protection workers pacing. Doesn't make much sense, does it? Keep in mind Ross is another one of those close-out stores and so they get the merchandise they get for a reason. If you're trying to buy shoes from this place, I'd advise against it. Lots of them look nice on the shelf, but have virtually no padding inside, so you'll be spending extra money somewhere else on insoles since that's one type of merchandise they don't seem to carry. If you do wind up with a bad pair of shoes, make sure you only wear them for a day or so and rinse them off really well before bringing them back. When you take them to the counter, they'll point out the fact that the tag is no longer attached to the shoe, but if you have that with you, they're typically fine with it. However, if they notice any signs of wear, they'll flat out refuse the return. That's what happened to me over a little bit of dead grass on the bottoms, but no worries. Since I wasn't about to eat $34 over some shoes I had only worn for two days, all I had to do was take them back home and spray them off in the shower before giving them a day to dry. After that, another location gladly accepted the return. I mean you gotta do what you gotta do. Your time and money are worth everything. ~Ryan

Kroger Fuel Center

The gas prices here tend to be lower and with a rewards card, 3 cents cheaper, or more if you grocery shop here. I go to a different location to shop, as this Kroger has a maze of aisles that are perpetually hard to navigate. Love the convenience of the gas station though! ~Andrea
