If I could give this location zero stars I would. I am not from Kingwood, but was in the area for my daughters orthodontist appointment. We were early and thought we would kill some time by shopping. I will admit, we were not dressed up at all, just jeans, tshirts and vans shoes, but honestly that shouldnât matter. When we entered the store, we were the only customers there, nobody greeted us or asked if we needed assistance instead we were followed around the store being asked random and in my opinion inappropriate questions. The first associate asked, âare you from around here?â I replied, âwe are not, just in the area for an orthodontist appointment and we are early so browsing around killing time.â She then looked at my daughter and asked, âare you going to the orthodontist to get a free consultation for your first set of braces?â And my daughter told her âno, I got them off earlier today and we are returning to pick up my retainers etcâ
Then the woman proceeded to follow us, and took a dress I was carrying so she could âopen me a fitting roomâ I picked out another shirt and went in the fitting room. The other associate then goes to the fitting room area and I hear her ask my daughter, âdid she like the shirt she just tried on?â My daughter replied âIâm not sure, you would have to ask herâ At that point I was ready to leave. I didnât like the dress but wanted to purchase the shirt, however, there isnât anywhere to hang the unwanted items outside the fitting room so I left the dress in there. As I approached the register, the associates glanced at each other, one went RUNNING to the fitting room, then stepped outside it and gave a nod to the associate at the register which I took as a âitâs okay to check her outâ nod. As I was paying the cashier said âglad you came to visit, where are you fromâ I just smiled and politely told her where I was from and left. I will never return to this location. I wasnât going to leave a review until a friend pointed out other unsettling reviews for this location. Oddly enough, there are several that have had this same âpretty womanâ experience. These women need training and need to understand not to judge a book by is cover. Iâm a business woman, owning multiple businesses, did I fit the part that day? No, but it was my day off with my daughter and I shouldnât be judged by my appearance of jeans and a tshirt anyway. Ladies, save yourself the embarrassment and frustration and stay out of this location. ~Melissa
