32 Best gas station in San Antonio, Texas (TX) 2024

I only stop here when I can't hold till I get home for a bathrom stop. Everything is overpriced so this is just out of necessity stop. Most employees are nice but there are a few I wonder why they are there if they don't like woring there as they seldom great customers. I think they are those younger ones with no social common sense. ~Miyo

This gas station was very clean and the service was good. The cashier was friendly and professional. I just don’t know why I get charged an extra 75 cents to use my debit card. When I bought some lottery tickets, I was charged an additional 75 cents. I understand that this is probably legal but if all the other gas stations don’t charge you extra to use debit, isn’t it wise to not charge this small fee? Don’t they want their customers’ repeat business? ~R

Stopped here on a Monday afternoon because I desperately needed a restroom. I almost didn't go in because the place looked closed. All the pumps were out of order except one and the interior of the store looked dark from the outside. Luckily, they were open though. The restroom was pretty much a mess and very dirty but what can you ask for from a public restroom? I bought a soda because I don't believe in not purchasing something when you use a restroom and the guy behind the counter was nice. Not a terrible gas station. ~Christina

Good gas station, the prices are lower than other stations. Even lower than the Walmart gas stations. Limited number of pumps so it gets packed quickly. ~CN

Buyer beware! I don't get gasoline from here. The price is slightly on the high side. The fuel quality here is low. Sometimes I get an engine light come on if I get super unleaded from here. I only get an engine light in my hemi if there's water or other contaminates in the fuel. I have to add octane booster or wait until my next fill up and go to a different gas station to get rid of the engine light. ~Richard

Terrible service, I purchased cigarettes and tried to purchase gas but the Cash Register Rep stated circle doesn't take change. (Mind you if you can't count 3 dollars in change you should not be employed on the register. My 6 year old nephew can count change!) Will not stopping for gas or anything else at your stores! I paid for cigarrettes with 10$ bill, so will take bills but not some change. Ridiculous cause employee replied its store policy. Everyone in this country is struggling so counting change should be something everyone knows. I worked for Valero in the past and never complained about my job. The key is to start counting get the customer in and out. Money is money. The store was also empty 2 people, even the customer behind me was just in Awe that she refused to take change. Chevron is an amazing place with good quality merchandise and great employees. There are plenty of gas units for vehicles to get gasoline ⛽ also. ~Ronald

Valero convenient store is one of the best places to shop for gas, groceries, and other useful products for your needs. The employees are courteous and professional. It's a nice stop to get a variety of products plus your gas,oil,and household products too. ~Ronald

Some weird lady cashier started asking me questions, I just needed gas. ~Halo

The young guy at night always has the store closed he could be standing right there smoking his vape turning paying customers away or talking to a group of friends , he will be in the store in plain sight and ignore the people knocking at the window smh it’s been going on for a long time now or the sign that says be back in 10 minutes but he is gone for hrs smh really ? or at 3am he closed to change shifts but sitting there on the phone refusing customers something need to be done about this ASAP . ~S
