Best candy store in Alexandria, Virginia (VA) 2024

I’ve been to a few Kilwin’s locations in Philadelphia and Florida, but the Alexandria one was small but totally worth it! The people who served my my ice cream were quite friendly! The only problem is that the ice cream scoops are too big, depending on what they serve it in. For instance, I ordered the Superman (rainbow-flavored ice cream) in a cup and both scoops, which I wanted were enormous! Like other Kilwin’s that I’ve been too, there are no tables to sit down at to enjoy your ice cream, neither outside, nor inside. So if you wanted to stay at the parlor to enjoy your ice cream or chocolate, you had to sit on a bench and do some people watching. Nonetheless, Kilwin’s is my go to ice cream shop when I’m away from home! ~Julian
