Always a fantastic experience if you love chocolate fudge or ice cream and candy with the best ingredients. The manager was amazing and accommodated me and when I could not pick up some fudge that I pre-ordered and paid for. The staff is always friendly this place is a definite go to for locals or visitors alike

I wasn't sure what to do for lunch, but because I'm an adult and on vacation, I decided to get ice cream. Cute shop with different types of ice cream and candy. The boy who served me could have been a bit more happy, but it's summer and he's serving me ice cream. I got the Potomac river ice cream (I think). It was amazing! I sadly couldn't finish it but would love to travel back just to get more.

I’ve been to a few Kilwin’s locations in Philadelphia and Florida, but the Alexandria one was small but totally worth it! The people who served my my ice cream were quite friendly! The only problem is that the ice cream scoops are too big, depending on what they serve it in. For instance, I ordered the Superman (rainbow-flavored ice cream) in a cup and both scoops, which I wanted were enormous! Like other Kilwin’s that I’ve been too, there are no tables to sit down at to enjoy your ice cream, neither outside, nor inside. So if you wanted to stay at the parlor to enjoy your ice cream or chocolate, you had to sit on a bench and do some people watching. Nonetheless, Kilwin’s is my go to ice cream shop when I’m away from home!

Very over priced ice cream... my Sunday was caramel and chocolate... there was no distinctive taste between the items on my Sunday..just tasted like super sweet ice cream with a crunch from the bland flavored nuts... it was pretty though

Such a mind-blowing sundae! Their hot fudge is to die for. Got the cappuccino ice cream whose unique but amazing flavor dominated the sundae. The chocolate fudge ice cream had chewy bits which enhanced the experience. Very affordable too!

This Kilwin Chocolate & Ice Cream spot here in Olde Town Alexandria has the Mackinac Island fudge down pat. I’ve had the original Mackinac Island fudge when I recently visited Michigan. My pictures speak volumes of my experience me and my bestie has experienced in this wonderful store on our amazing day out. The gentleman working today was truly polite and friendly to us. He added to our day. 11FEB.2022

My scoop of Mackinac Island Fudge was a great introduction to Kilwins, creamy and loaded with fudge. The chocolates, fudge, and other treats were tempting, but would never make it home in the summer heat. I'll just have to limit what I buy to what I can eat until the fall.

A great little chocolate shop. So many things to choose, from kettle corn to fudge to a milkshakes. And a fudge brownie milkshake was what I had. The only size is 20oz, and it was good. I think they could have blended it better because there was a lot of Brownie at the bottom that I needed to use a spoon. But it was expensive, and I'm not sure I got my money's worth.

The shop smells divine upon entering, however, it was empty on the hottest day of the month ** possible red flag** I had a waffle bowl -- with half cake batter, half butter pecan, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. It was good. They do not provide samples, so I was very hesitant to try something new. Also, they have several sweet treats, but did not have brownies for ice cream sundaes, with I thought was also odd. All in all an average experience. But I wish there was more variety in options.
