This was my first time at a tea room. I didn't really know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how cute it was inside. The food and tea were delicious. The owner and manager are so very sweet! My mother in-law mentioned that we were there for my belated birthday present, and they came out with a birthday cupcake and happy birthday confetti. I hope to go back to this tea room! Thank you again, ladies ! ~Lisa

Kenny was amazing, we came all the way from michigan and stopped for lunch. He was so bubbly and friendly! Asked for a specific thing made and he got it perfect. Food was hot and fresh. He needs to open his own pizza place. Thanks kenny!! ~Madison

Older lady who works at the Cinnabon is very rude. I waited my turn in line, when I got to the front of the line I asked how long for one of the cups that she was making that weren't ready yet & she blew me off saying she needed to get all the people behind me in line first. It's not freaking rocket science to cut one up & throw it in a cup. Everything was sitting in front of her. The guy in front of me he asked for a fork and she sarcastically tossed the bucket on the counter that was behind the glass. No Customer service at all! 0820 Sunday 3/7/21 ~Tom

I left my debit card while I was traveling to my granddaughter’s graduation and I called hoping it was there, I spoke to the manager Willa Clarke and she was so kind and she mailed my card back to me on her own time. I cannot expressed how grateful I am to her for her kindness and willingness to help me. I will definitely stop there on my next trip to Virginia. ~Donna

Stopped on the way to NC. Good quality fuel. Almost the same fuel price as all others around. Not cheap .. they have a small pit stop store having a restroom .. they have good stock of beers, cold drinks , coffee and other quick snacks . Liked it overall. Good customer service ~Raj

They offer seating at the bar or in there dining room. There menu choices are many. They do have a gluten free selection for most of there entrees. I ordered there big squeal burger without the deep fried onion or the bun, when it arrived the first thing I noticed was the onion ring. I removed it. Not a problem, and let me tell you, it was one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in a long time. Also enjoyed there Greek salad. All there portions were very generous. My best girl ordered the cauliflower crust (gf) pizza with bbq chicken. She felt the bbq sauce’s flavor was very rich and that it should not have been applied so thickly. Less is more. No where on the menu was there any mention of an up charge for the crust she chose. It simply states cauliflower pizza $12. So she ordered the cauliflower pizza, with bbq chicken and nothing was said about an extra $4.00 charge for the crust. we paid the bill but thought that they should have explained that at the time of ordering. It was definitely not a $21. pizza. ~R.B.

I contacted Independent for a price quote - I had an answer right away. It also happened to be the lowest price out of 4 calls. My preferred appointment time was available. Matt showed up exactly on time. Highly professional, super friendly, and obviously knows what he's doing. In about an hour, my windshield was replaced. Not a thing out of place, not a thing left on the ground, not a scratch anywhere. I highly recommend Matt & Independent Auto Glass. ~Maname

The worst customer service ever! My daughter and her girlfriend went to send 1500 dollars for me to my mom via money gram. JASON the manager on duty was very rude and unprofessional. I had to meet my daughter at the CVS to give her more money to complete the transaction. The gentleman first checked every single 50 and 20 dollar bill that made up the 1537, fine. The cash register displayed 1537 due. He put the money in the cash drawer and printed us a receipt that said 500 dollars with a 37.00 charge. I refused to accept that because it didn't match the amount of money we had just handed over. He said there's a reference number on the receipt call them to figure it out, I don't know what to tell you. (YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT TO TELL ME!! I WAS LIVID) He went on to say "you can cancel it" I said, "yes cancel it and give me my money back". After he returned my money, a light went off in his head that maybe now his register would be short. Here's when the attitude disappeared and all of a sudden he was polite now. He said, "wait can I call my manager," as we were standing there counting the money. He brought the receipt back out and said look the printer just didn't print the 1 in front of the 5 (I guess I looked like a damn fool to him) I ignored him because at this time I was over him, and the damn judgement. He got her on the phone and walked out to me handing the phone towards me to talk to the manager. I told him just what he told me. "there is a reference number on the receipt call them, I don't know what to tell you. Next time I bet you won't racially profile my family and mistreat us. If you don't like helping African Americans don't work, we're not going any where! Look at the receipt and tell me if the printer missed printing the 1 in front of the 500 in all 4 instances?
