The staff at Carter Bank and Trust at 1400 Electric Rd in Salem are fantastic. They go above and beyond to help their customers understand their banking options. They always give me great service and a friendly smile. They are the best and the service they give their customers is outstanding! ~Julia

Wanted a managers signature to withdraw money from a rep payee account...I am the rep payee. Said I couldn't withdraw the available balance from a zelle transfer because it wasn't posted as the current balance. Supposed branch manager had no idea what zelle was. Have had to make a formal complaint about an employee of the salem branch for their absolute unprofessional behavior and general attitude toward me as a new customer. They also forced me to open 3 separate accounts for rep payee payments and one personal despite social security saying that is false and me having been using one account for all 3 payments for the last 8 years... Terrible branch employees. ~Michelle
