9 Best convenience store in Winchester, Virginia (VA) 2024

We stopped in at a little after 3 AM, and the cooks had the 'Kitchen closed' sign up. My GF and I were bummed out. they kinda heard us talking about it, and said they had just forgotten to turn the sign around. very good food, friendly ladies in the back, and the guys up front. just a good place to stop in. ~Nathaniel

A rude assistant manager refused to answer my polite question and walked off. I repeated the question louder to attract his attention, and he told me to leave the store, then threatened to call the police when I asked why. I reported this to DG corporate, and I am waiting for an apology and confirmation that this man has been disciplined. PS I was later informed that this assistant manager didn't turn up for work the next day and was released from his position. In the several months since then I have shopped several times at this store without issues. ~Peter

Out of three employees I seen in the store only one was wearing a face mask part of the time. Pregnant woman in subway section making food without mask, gentleman in Dunkin donuts no face mask, and young kid behind register wearing one part time. How does this continue?? ~David

The older lady at the counter is a racist. She is not an asset to the company. She should retire. ~Michelle

Good friendly staff but lack of inventory like the soda machine hasn't have the full selection for month and the condiments bar empty and not very clean, needs improvement ~Luis

Virginia is trash. I'm 35 years old but can't buy chewing tobacco because the license I carry says expired when my license is actually current in my home state I just lost the new card. I don't even chew tobacco I just use it every couple years when my sinuses close up because it helps me breathe. Meanwhile this trash State takes over $100 from me in taxes every week that I'm working here. I can't wait to leave and never return ~GUNS

Local Walgreens trying to work around a lot of issues & doing the best they can but the Company who manages website is failing miserably. No working phone for over 2 weeks - maybe longer. I had been trying for over 2 weeks when I discovered problem. Called the company's 800 and customer service person looked it up and couldn't tell me anything or give me a working phone #. If company would just put something on the website with a working phone # & notification of problems would have helped a lot. So unprofessional. ~Rae

Nothing fancy. Typical 711 but the people are cool and it's never really crowded. They're not stuck up either they'll let you hang out if it's cold and drink your coffee. ~Justin
