This is my first-time buying hearing aids. I did my hearing test to find out what my deficiencies are, sought out good council and research on what I needed to help my hearing. Once that was done, I compared hearing aids, where to buy them, etc. I was referred to Costco by several people who had bought hearing aids at the Woodbridge location and raved about their program.
I called and made an appointment with the senior hearing technician, Ms. Warren. At my appointment, Ms. Warren looked at my hearing test, had me try several types of hearing aids and presented the program that Costco offers. Not only was Costco’s price for the hearing aids half of what I was finding locally, the type of hearing aids I needed were in stock and only took a week to arrive. At my second appointment Ms. Warren setup the hearing aids by Jabra. All within 20 minutes or so. She went over the program, which included regular visits, cleaning, and an awesome warranty. Then asked me to come back in two weeks for a follow-up.
My Costco hearing aid experience with Ms. Warren has been excellent. She was professional, answered my questions and made sure I had my phone setup as well.
If you are considering hearing aids, the Costco in Woodbridge offers full service including hearing test. I think you will value the experience even though most of us do not want to add hearings aids to our daily regiment. I have found out that failing to address hearing loss could increase chances of developing dementia. Enough said. ~Mark
