Best veterans organization in Carson, Washington (WA) 2024

This is a private club, of sorts, in order to be a member you must volunteer your time. Members can sign in guests, but you can't just walk in, like you could a standard bar. There is a buzzer at the door and you have to actually be let in. If you aren't local (or sleeping with someone that grew up here) don't expect to meet friendly people. This small town is like a High School and my experience at The Legion demonstrated that I am not in any of the cliques. My understanding is that The Legion was originally started as a bar/hangout for Veterans or family of Veterans. The bar tender, Dan, was pleasant and funny. There is a band that volunteers to perform covers of rock music, they aren't great. ~Samantha
