5 Best bank in Seattle, Washington (WA) 2024

I am giving a one star because there is no option for zero stars. The bank manager (JOK) at this location is incompetent and unresponsive. Now 6 years since the trust account was set up after the passage of my mother he is asking for additional information which was apparently lost or mishandled by the bank in 2017. Though I told him I recently underwent surgery and the cotrustee is 97 years old and out of state he is threatening to close the account in two weeks without a grace period if this information is not received. ~Robin

This company obstructs people's ability to pay mortgages. I have a bachelor's degree in Economics. Undermining the real estate and mortgage market in the United States is a great way to have no one respect your property rights either. Have fun with the CFPB and Federal Reserve complaints I sent. ~Jafar

I use U.S. Bank for my personal checking, savings, and two credit cards. I like their no annual fee Cash Plus credit card because I can choose two categories like cell phones or home utilities to earn 5% cash back on my purchases in those categories. When I redeem points on their Flex Perks card, I don't get charged airport or airline fees. You can also use points to pay for the annual fee. I can find a branch in most neighborhoods and cities. Which is useful when I am in Magnolia. Unfortunately, I can't recommend U.S. Bank to my QuickBooks customers that I set up, fix, clean up, train, and provide the software for a discount because unlike other banks, you can't download their transactions directly into QuickBooks desktop Pro or Premier like Chase, Bank of America, BECU, and other financial institutions at no charge. What's so difficult about enabling that? ~Keith

This is the best bank I have ever dealt with. Their expertise is matched by their kindness and strong commitment to public service. The staff has handled complex problems for me with knowledge and finesse. I am lucky to have this unit as my local branch. ~david

Some staff need more training for sure. Had my card canceled on Thursday and they had no idea they canceled it. Such inconvenience specially on the weekend when the temp card keeps getting declined. So emberassing when you know there's plenty of funds in your account. ~Jose
