6 Best beauty salon in Madison, Wisconsin (WI) 2024

My hair stylist Lynnle is amazing. She originally worked at Escape Du Monde, and I followed her to Phenix Salons by East Towne Mall. She is personable, willing to work with you to get ultimate hair results and the sweetest woman on earth. I will continue to see her for all my hair needs. 😊❤️❤️ 3/11 -They wouldn't let me write another review but, I went to get my hair colored and Lynnle did a wonderful job. One of the most reliable salons with wide variety of services. Had hair as well as body, facial, and massage services — all great. They take customer safety seriously while still providing a relaxing environment. Btw - the coffee they serve is incredible. They carry big range of the Aveda products too. It’s convenient when you run out. They have multiple levels of stylists and service cost ranges according to experience. What I love is they are collaborative; in more than one occasion I have seen senior stylists guide and help others. Free and easy parking up front. ~Barbara

Fallon is absolutely amazing and is the only reason my husband and I will continue to get our hair cut at this location. We both had bad/horrible haircuts there from two different people who I will not name. We decided to give it one more shot and see who was there and it was our first appointment with Fallon. This wonderful woman was there alone taking phone calls left and right. She is personable and well versed in her craft. Thank you for all you do for your company and your customers. This place is kept so clean and tidy. It’s always so fun to chat with Mackenzie (Hair by Mackenzie). She does a great haircut. She also remembers the little details. ~Samantha

I got a haircut here on Saturday and when I walked in it looked so nice and the staff was very friendly. It's a good atmosphere but I was not happy with my haircut. I didn't know that they don't shampoo your hair, all they did was just wet my hair. She didn't wet all my hair and me having extremely wavy hair it's not going to fall on my face evenly. She didn't style it or even blow dry it so I left with wet hair. I decided to get bangs and when my hair dried it was not what I wanted. I asked for my bangs to be cut above my eyebrow and it was covering my eyes. I asked for my hair to be framed around my face and it doesn't frame it at all. I still had to cut my hair at home and I still hate my haircut. With Thanksgiving around the corner there is no time to go somewhere else. I'm stuck with this until my hair grows out again because it's layered and I can't layer it any shorter. If you need a trim I highly recommend but for a haircut I would go somewhere else. Christine knows hair and is a great colorist. It takes forever to find someone to do your hair in Madison. My hair is in much better shape now. ~Fiona
