Ralph Rabin Violins

Ralph believes that everyone who wants to play well should be able to have a high quality instrument. If you are a professional in need of an artist level instrument, Mr. Rabin's stunning inventory will have exactly what you need. And, he gives the same level of respect and service to a beginning player. Ralph's kindness, low pressure, attentiveness, and wonderful choices put my students at ease to choose the very best instruments for their level of playing and needs. ~Lizbeth

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes

Went and got pickup, restaurant was clean and the only worker in there was very friendly. The food however, was not good at all. Dried out burger not at all what I’ve gotten from moo yah in the past. Darker spots in the picture are hard as a rock and crunchy. Lettuce was hard and stringy, seems like it’s been sitting out all day. Very thick tomato slice that didn’t cover the bun. Pieces were ripped off the bun which makes me think it was dropped in something or was moldy. Edit: burger was so bad I couldn’t take more than a few bites and I’m not feeling well now. ~Jon

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes

Surprisingly good burger for $6.11 (tax included). Most toppings are free. I put on grilled onions and mushrooms, jalapeno, tomato, lettuce, mustard, relish on a whole grain bun at no extra cost! Cheese is $1.10 extra, so I left it off. Good, fresh quarter pound of Angus beef burger. Also had the fresh cut french fries which were excellent too. See pics, but believe me when I say the burger tastes way better than it looked ~Tom

KWIK TRIP #956

The hours of operation change all of the time and it doesn’t get updated anywhere so you don’t find out until you arrive. I pulled in at the Mineral Point Rd location at 11:45 pm assuming they were 24 hours again like they have been for awhile again now and they were open when i pulled in; and after finishing scratching a lotto ticket, I got out to go inside and all of a sudden at 11:52 Pm all the lights were off and they were closed! I gps’d the nearest gas station which was this location, and with only 10 miles to empty I’m freaking out. Well this store is also listed as 24 hours for the store and they were closed too! Luckily there was another Kwik Trip about 2 miles further out: but what a goose chase that almost left me stranded with no gas. Moral of the story; if you’re almost out of gas and it’s later than 10pm? Call and make sure they’re open because the hours posted online are never updated. ~Adele

KWIK TRIP #955

Definitely on the low end of the spectrum as far as Kwik Trip locations go. The north entrance is a cluster, good luck getting in and out at that end with all the drivers cutting corners and looking out only for themselves. Building is more dated and smaller than most Kwik Trips - I would say that this branch is in need of a renovation. Gas prices are competitive for the area, and patrons are quite entertaining. ~Joshua

Woodman's Food Market

Woodman's East is my home away from home one stop shop for everything grocery. Canned goods, ethnic aisle all extensive, diverse selection. Fresh produce, meats, seafood, packaged meats in good trim & always well stocked. Dairy & frozen are larger than typical & always find what I want. The bakery has LaBrea sourdough bread, which is full selection & of course, to die for. Just found out that common pharmacy products such as aspirin, ibuprofen, etc. are much less than Walgreen's. A customer passed this on to me just last week. Amazing to think, over 40 yrs shopping there & $300k+ for purchases later, & Woodman's is still surprising me with continuously low prices & good quality. NOTE: I shopped for an eating coop in the 80's, with over 200 members & hungry mouths to feed at that, the bulk grocery purchases balloon to the moon pretty quick. That's why the seemingly inflated $300k total purchases; 200 busy, active college students consume vast quantities of foodstuffs. ~John
