Gas station is a joke. Fancy pumps and fancy hand dryers in the restrooms, but every credit card is rejected at the pump. After speaking with the staff, we were informed that credit card payment is not accepted. ๐คฆ This information is not posted at the gas pump. The one and only reason we refueled here anyway was because of the cost difference, but I have little interest in returning when the communication is this poor.

Woodmanโs has just about everything you need, but the store is a bit of a cluster. Be prepared for a long grocery trip until you figure out the store layout! But, if you ever need specialty ingredients they likely have them!

Woodman's East is my home away from home one stop shop for everything grocery. Canned goods, ethnic aisle all extensive, diverse selection. Fresh produce, meats, seafood, packaged meats in good trim & always well stocked. Dairy & frozen are larger than typical & always find what I want. The bakery has LaBrea sourdough bread, which is full selection & of course, to die for. Just found out that common pharmacy products such as aspirin, ibuprofen, etc. are much less than Walgreen's. A customer passed this on to me just last week. Amazing to think, over 40 yrs shopping there & $300k+ for purchases later, & Woodman's is still surprising me with continuously low prices & good quality. NOTE: I shopped for an eating coop in the 80's, with over 200 members & hungry mouths to feed at that, the bulk grocery purchases balloon to the moon pretty quick. That's why the seemingly inflated $300k total purchases; 200 busy, active college students consume vast quantities of foodstuffs.

If you want to be treated rudely by so called employee owners, spend your money here. I have been here twice, both times the stock people was absolutely rude, and did not care about the shopper. They actually rudely tell them to move. Lost my business.

The only reason I went here was the lower prices than HyVee. Well, thatโs not a thing anymore. They have raised most of their prices up to Hyvee levels. In that case, Hyvee is cleaner and friendlier. The Woodmans employees donโt make eye contact, talk in their native language around you, and canโt seem to keep expired products off their shelf.

Woodmanโs does not allow returns on products with receipts. They offer no guarantees for their merchandise and have terrible customer service representatives. I refuse to make purchases from locations that cannot guarantee their products. Their corporation makes enough money off of individuals, youโd presume returns or exchanges would be a rational ideal for all businesses.

As long as you avoid produce and meat, this place is great. The Produce Manager doesn't care about customers at all. He is perfectly happy to sell us produce that is about to go bad. I'd place a $100 dollar bet that they repackage old meat because their meat is god awful. Get cheap dry goods here and be happy, don't touch their day-from-rotten produce or spoiled meat. Phil Woodman, you should be ashamed of yourself.

This store has everything that you could need including a large selection of ethnic foods. I usually shop here for their rice crackers, which I can't find at other stores. The prices are good too. Check out is pretty speedy now that they have self-service lanes. I usually don't buy a full cart load of groceries so I appreciate the self-checkout lanes.
