Best food products supplier in Madison, Wisconsin (WI) 2024

Pleased overall but with a complaint. I am very positively impressed with their customer service and delivery. I was as respected in ordering just one large tin as I believe I would have been had I ordered 500. After I spoke with them,I am confident they will take my complaint seriously. My gripe is with the cheese corn. I ordered a large tin to be shared at a family gathering. I had the tin halved by flavor. One side was caramel; the other, cheese corn. The caramel was fantastic! The cheese flavored popcorn was gross! First of all, 1/3 of the quantity was inedible crumbs/ just fines you had to sift out to get a handful of whole kernels. This would have been a little more tolerable if the flavor was exceptional. It was not! The flavoring had a terrible taste as well as being gooey and sticky. It softened the kernels as though they were stale. I paid over $78 for this container (delivered).I would have had no regrets if half the contents were not so unacceptable. The point of contact I talked to said they had run out of their usual flavoring and had experimented with a substitute spray-on concoction. I wasn’t looking for a refund but thought they might have given me a partial credit toward my next purchase as I will give them another chance. They did not but I will still order from them next Christmas -after first asking them about the quality of their cheese flavoring. 01/26/22 As an addendum to my review. The owner of Badger Popcorn did contact me with genuine concern over my point of dissatisfaction. He gave more insight into the problem and it’s correction. He also sincerely apologized and is sending compensation in kind. Bravo Zulu and 5 stars to this company! ~Douglas
