All in all it's a great store. The only draw back is most of the younger employees haven't had the knowledge to answer my questions. But they did go find a fellow employee that did, if there was one there. But a great store and the youngsters will get the knowledge in time.

I visited O Reillys in Abbeville, LA. yesterday to buy some after market bolts. There were 3 customers in the store including me. The customer at the counter was being helped by the lone employee working. I was next in line. Another hollered from an aisle inquiring about tire dressing. The employee immediately stop helping the customer in front of me and proceeded to use his expertise of tire dressing and spent the next 10 minutes helping the guy find the right tire dressing. I was slightly perturbed but decided to wait since was already there. Once they found the proper tire dressing the employee returned to the counter and finished the transaction with the customer in front of me. The customer with the tire dressing who was now at the next counter immediately stepped up as soon as the first customer walked away and the employee knowing I had been next in line waiting for at least 10 minutes started ringing him up. I informed them I was next in line and the employee ignored me. At this point I set my item down and walked out. I went to AutoZone where I was waited on promptly. O Reillys could take some lessons from AutoZone about customer service. It will be a long time(if ever) that I patronize an O Reillys store again.

I'm surprised they don't know our names yet but they sure know our faces! We are here so often and it never fails we're always helped to the best of their knowledge. They've done a lot for my boyfriend and myself. The older gentleman who's a veteran (not sure of his name) is one of our favorites to go see. Very helpful and easy to talk to.

The bald "assistant" manager CHRIS with glasses is a complete prick. After getting permission from a different worker to exchange a can of paint because I got the wrong shade, I was promptly stopped by chris while leaving and told I couldn't do the exchange. He was very rude and condescending. I've never had problems doing exchanges before, but it seems CHRIS here enjoys being a prick flexing his authority. I'll go to auto zone across the street from now on. They've never done me wrong and always have lower prices. Management here made the wrong choice making CHRIS a manager. The customer always comes first, period.
