This is the meat market around EVER. Staff very friendly and have been there since I was a kid almost. Fresh hog head cheese, fresh sausage, like everything is fresh not processed like the ones you buy out the stores. They also sell great lunch plates. I just love this place. Highly recommend you go at least once and you'll be hooked.

I can only comment on the food quality due to my bias of the service (I have work/worked there occassionally). The taste of food is subjective, but the food is of really good quality. Lunch specials are consistent weekly (but I would love to see them change a little). Hot box food is really good. Chicken tenders, yes. I buy the chicken tenders uncooked and seasoned...to put.in my freezer for home cooking. The frozen selection is abundant...honestly,how many combinations of sausage and stuffed chicken can you have? I really enjoy the Pure Pork Smoked Sausage (very traditional). A little advice as a customer server, if you see something off/wrong with the cleanliness of this store...do tell the servers (but remember, tell them kindly).

I love their boudin balls with jalapeño cheddar. They are 🔥. Can't wait to come back home on vacation to get some more. That's is not unless they can ship it to me.

If you're in the Adidas, Louisiana area & the hunger pangs are crunked up, this place will aid in quenching dem pangs. They have a variety of items on their menu. Give them a shot!!! You won't leave disappointed.

So disappointed! I asked somebody to order a party tray for me. Prior of asking the person to go to the store, I made a call and ask what's in the party tray mix. Was expecting for boudin, cracklings and sausage combinations as what I was told but 3/4's of the tray are sausage and few boudins paid it for $60+!

Stopped in today! The boudin balls were awesome. I purchased a deboned chicken stuffed with SHRIMP DRESSING...alligator sausage and a cornish hen stuffed with rice dressing. Seasoned to perfection!!! The cracklin' and pepper jack boudin balls are a must try. Awesome experience. Will definitely be back to try the rib eyes and stuffed pork chops.

Best specialty meat store around. Brought a deer in to get processed and man that’s the best deer sausage I ever had. They not the cheapest but they are the best. The pepper jack boudin balls are the best and they have the best hog head cheese around. Go to Benoit’s. You won’t be disappointed.

The best stuffed chickens and boudin in the greater Baton Rouge area (and I’m from true Cajun country coastal Louisiana, so I know my boudin). Also, really great home cooking daily plate lunches with generous portions —Chicken stew like your grandma’s. Super friendly staff.
