If they had 1/2 star it would be more accurate. Drive thru is ALWAYS closed, you can’t get thru to a REAL person to check status of scrip. Auto refills are NEVER done on time. Customer service sucks and if you buy something, YOU have to check it out yourself,EVEN THOUGH there are 1or 2 staff members on the floor!😤😡😡😡

Droped in to pick up a few things. Was told the restrooms are not available to customers. Don't people go to pharmacies when they re sick? If any place should have a restroom available it is a pharmacy. This why I like Walgreens so much better.

Had to switch from cvs in luling due to hurricane. Loved cvs in luling. Have not had great experience with cvs in Avondale. Hold on phone for over thirty minutes call disconnected tried several times after that same thing. Go to pick up medicine the pharmacy looks very cluttered unorganized and short staff. Take 15 min just to pick up medicine. Have to call to make sure they process orders or get e scripts. Been waiting on a med for two weeks. Been saying processing since Monday. Call on wedn and they so oh we have to contact Dr for prior authorization. I should have not had had to call that should have already been in the works. I am not sure if this was like this before hurricane but it is not type of service I am used to from cvs

If I was able to give one star I would. They are unprofessional and plain out rude. I was out on hold five times and hung up on four. The lady thought it was funny when I kept calling back, finally a guy came to the phone while I was on hold the fifth time and me he would take care of it 4 hours later and it’s still not ready. Then I was told come back the next day because they not gone have time to fill it. This place provides poor service. I will be switching to Walgreens.

Pharmacist was nice! The lady that checked me out was ruuuude. Told her thank you... didnt even respond. C.V.S. I know you can habe yout employees be at least cordial.

Zero stars if i could give it. My Rx's were transferred when our neighborhood Winn-Dixie was closed. These people are the worse, and always have an excuse. I called to refill and was told they would be ready by 3:30pm. My daughter stopped by at 4:00p, and was told they were not ready to come back at 7:00p. Called at 7:30 to avoid an unnecessary trip, and was told they would be ready the following day. This happens EVERY TIME! Always standing around ignoring people. Lines always long. Worst customer serivce ever! Update - So was on hold while typing this. Now going on 12 minutes and still no one answering the phone. GRRR!

Pharmacy staff is a complete mess. My Rx was supposed to be ready at 1pm, when I arrived at 1:50 I was told it would be ready around 3 or 4 and asked to come inside and wait! Every month there is a problem and every month I call the main CVS complaint line. The regional manager, Leslie, always says they are working on it, yet every month it's the same incompetent staff.

This CVS has the slowest pharmacy in my area(drive through and inside). It's a disgrace for anyone who has severe health issues. This wait time could cause potential health risks and someone would be held responsible. I ONLY go to this location because it is near my home. If there was another one closer, I'd definitely frequent that one. It's truly a shame.

Worse pharmacy is Louisiana! Worse customer service ANYWHERE!.... takes 3-4days to get a scrip filled!..... transferred all meds to Walgreens and they had MULTIPLE scrips done in less than 1 hr! Walgreens in Westwego is the place to go!

Pharmacy techs are unprofessional and need more training. I've had issues with my prescriptions on 3 different occasions. First time the PT told me my prescription would be 200 because my insurance didnt cover it which was a mistake on her part. Second they filled the wrong prescription. Third time I did a transfer because my doctor sent it to the wrong location. Spoke with a PT at 10:00a.m and she informed me it would be ready at 1:00pm. Called at about 4:00pm still not ready. Drive over before they close and they filled the wrong prescription so now I have to wait another day. Worst experience ever!!!. Do not go here. I'll take the extra drive and stick with Walgreens.
