Shop at this location very often. The staff members very kind. They are professional but treat you as if you have been friends forever. One lady did not call me by name but she knows me every time I walk in the store. She might say, how’s our little boy. She remembers my grandson. Someone on this comment site said the staff were not kind. My guess, this person did not get the answer she wanted. Remember, this is a small Walgreens. It does not have all products listed in the fliers. FYI….I’m not from Metairie or do I have family working here.

The line is always 6 people deep. They do their best to getbthrough it quickly. They dobt have a lot of variety anymore though so you get what you get food and snackwise.

This is by far the best pharmacy I’ve ever used. They have the kindest staff and the if the head pharmacist knows you will be needing a specific prescription every month he makes certain it’s in stock. I don’t understand how this pharmacy has 3.1 stars. They have been the most helpful pharmacy I’ve used.

For about a year now I've lived around this Walgreens and they always take forever to check out ... There could be two people in line and you're going to have to wait 30 minutes. All that was fine and dandy until a very rude employee today stopped me to ask "why are your child's cheeks so red does he have rosacea or something?" I kindly said no and continued to shop. Then she proceeded to ask if I realized my child had a runny nose. I again replied yes and walked away. I believe the store needs some serious customer service training. I won't be returning to this Walgreens.

I understand that everyone’s allowed to have bad days, but at this point I’m consistently getting attitude from the employees and negative vibes at this store. There’s no sense of urgency whatsoever. You wait forever for someone to unlock the products then you wait forever again at checkout. I’ll be going to the location closer to my home instead of my work next time.

This is the best Pharmacy I've ever gone to. On occasions i have to go to a different Pharmacy and it makes me appreciate this one so much more. Extremely friendly and helpful pharmacists and staff. It's a pleasure have them as my Pharmacy.

I got off the carnival glory really sick type A influenza, went to the hospital was told I needed tamaflu. They found a pharmacy right by my hotel. I got there at 552. They guy refused to do my prescription said he had last minute things to do before they closed. I told him I was from out of town, not feeling good and the doctor said I should start it right away. Not a good pharmacist in my opinion.

I'm used to New Orleanians taking lazy to supreme levels. So used to it that I've come to accept that most retail associates are only working because some government entity is forcing them to and that on any given day, I can be expected to be met with complete apathy and insolence from almost every retail clerk I encounter. It's the New Orleans way after all. What I absolutely did not expect however was that one of these "associate's" complete and almost awe inspiring dedication to NOT doing her job, would be responsible for the FORECLOSURE of my home. See, on the 29th of May 2019 approximately 5pm, I entered this Walgreens with a sealed, postage paid, FedEx envelope addressed to my mortgage company containing the just notorized, 20 minutes earlier, loan modification papers for my home loan. A modification that was necessary because I'd had a drastic change in income due to a malicious firing 10 months previous. A, what I believed, was going to be a happy ending to an extremely stressful, tedious, long drawn out process. Here I was at the finish line victorious in salvaging the one thing that mattered most to me, MY HOME. However, the shift manager, that day, a friendly enough middle aged woman, took my FedEx envelope, examined it and told me it would be sent out that evening. This unfortunately, (in my best Maury voice), was a lie. That FedEx envelope, never made it to the mortgage company. In fact, it never even made it to FedEx. I can only assume she treated my precious time sensitive paperwork the way she treats her job. With careless disregard for anything other than the numbers on her paycheck. And now the modification has been denied, and there is nothing I can do, because I owe thousands and thousands of dollars in back payments that I cannot make. So here I am, facing the most traumatic thing that another individual has ever done to me, and I can only ask, why? What was so hard about doing your job that you blatently refused to do it and ultimately dare I say maliciously caused another person's (a complete stranger nonetheless) emotional and financial demise? Was it worth it? I hope so, because I can't go back and change where I decided to drop off that envelope that day, so I hope one of us at least gets satisfaction from their actions.

Horrible Pharmacy customer service. Went to pick up my normal prescription because on my last one it said I still had 8 refills. The girl who was extremely rude says I have no refills left and I asked how it was possible if my last one said I had 8 refills. Then she explained that because it was the last day of the year it automatically expired. I told her I wish I would have been notified that the last month I picked up The previous prescription. Her response was “You should have asked us” with a horrible sarcastic attitude. She had no interest in helping me at all. Very upset.. I don’t remember the pharmacist name. But she was a young girl wearing something over her head. Will definetly be changing pharmacies after this. I refuse to deal with people who do not know how to speak to customers.
