6 Best convenience store in Metairie, Louisiana (LA) 2024

Last year around this time Labcorp was pretty efficient and helpful during my employment process! I usually frequent the CVS closer to my home but while out, this store was closer and it had exactly what I needed. Prune juice 🤫 and some stew 🍲 for this cold.. cashier was friendly and made my checkout a breeze! ~DS,

I would give this place 0 stars if i could the management is horrible especially the store manager they give nothing but attitude every time i walk in it’s horrible. they need to be trained on the correct way to speak to people ~shaine

Walked inside to drop off prescription. At 1:12 the prescription was in pharmacist tech hand and asked will I wait. I said yes I need it. She takes it and then comes back and says it won’t be ready until after 3 because they go to lunch at 1:30. So I advised I am in the system and get all prescriptions filled so I know it won’t take until 1;30. Another pharmacist putting labels on meds says we don’t work during lunch. Nor did I ask you to. I’m asking you to run my prescription now as I am the only one standing here. I took my prescription and left. They definitely need better staff working this location the reviews are correct. ~Kewain

This is the 2nd time that the ladies serving chicken has totally disgusted me. The 1st occasion as I was walking up to the counter I saw the young lady cough into her hand. She asked me what I wanted and once I told her she picked up a box to begin filling my order. I stopped her and told her to throw that box away and wash her hands before she fixed my order. Tonight I go in to order something and the 2 ladies working back there were both handling raw chicken 1 was frying the other prepping. The one who was prepping had gloves on both hands she used 1 gloved hand to remove one glove and then used her bare hand to remove the other. Not once did she attempt to wash her hands before coming to take my order and fix my food. I left without getting anything. These workers need to be taught proper food handling before someone gets ill by their carelessness. ~anastasia

It’s a very convenient location, so it’s where I always get my prescriptions filled. Never had any issue with the pharmacy itself, and the store was never anything special; I could just as easily go to the gas station next door for most things, and they’re probably cheaper. I’m currently sick, so I tried their same day delivery; not impressed. I only received 2 out of the 4 products I ordered; one of which was marked “do not substitute,” but a) online inventory should match in-store and b) I should have received some indication of missing products or substitution prior to delivery, not find out when I open the bag. Also what’s up with the screens on the cooler doors? Unnecessary and borderline dystopian. ~A.

Shop at this location very often. The staff members very kind. They are professional but treat you as if you have been friends forever. One lady did not call me by name but she knows me every time I walk in the store. She might say, how’s our little boy. She remembers my grandson. Someone on this comment site said the staff were not kind. My guess, this person did not get the answer she wanted. Remember, this is a small Walgreens. It does not have all products listed in the fliers. FYI….I’m not from Metairie or do I have family working here. ~danna
