If I hadn't needed gasoline! Wrote a review about this place a few years back.. I cringed once I pulled off the interstate... With the sounds of banjo music strumming in my head from the movie "Deliverance " and thoughts of texas chainsaw massacre ambience..... The pop filledriden drive was still not fixed. Like I said, if I had not needed gas, I would not have stopped! Running on fumes, but when I walked in the convince store, because the pumps were so old that u had to pay at register, thank God it wasn't raining, hardly a lean to that covered your one option gas pump! Beth, was working, very friendly, once again the paid staff was the only good experience. Thanks for the laughs and the beer!

Good place for a road-trip stop! bathrooms were clean and good choices of snacks and hot food. Left 4 stars because there was no charging table

Other folks gripe about the parking lot this general store and gas station are on, but I knew pulling in this would probably be the best stop of the whole trip and I wasn't wrong! We had been on the road half of the day already; we and the truck were running on fumes, but when I walked in, I was greeted like I'd been stopping here for years. All of the food is made in house and I can tell you for sure the boudin balls (and corn dogs) are AMAZING. 10/10 would definitely stop here again, thanks!

Worst gas station I've ever been to. No credit card readers at pumps, only one fuel type, parking lot full of HUGE potholes you need to maneuver around/over.

Nothing fancy. Bathroom was clean enough and the drinks were cold. Everything I needed for this pit stop was ok.

Potholes and no lighting. There aren’t many places to stop and this place is particularly creepy at night. More lighting and a better road would help. They had a bathroom so that was good.

Plotted this place on my overnight trip for gas. No other gas for miles before and after. Pulled in and the place is full of potholes. Their only non-diesel pump doesn't take card. Store was closed. I'm out of gas on the freeway between nowhere & nowhere else in the middle of the night now. If this is some kind of secret trucker paradise, please keep it secret. This should not be in Maps as a gas station, it's not a reliable stop for travelers. I wish I had the time to come back to this place in the daytime and express myself in person.

Wow! Not a lot of gas stations to choose from when you travel on 49 so we were forced to stop here. Only has a single gas pump that doesn't accept credit cards. You have to go in the store to pay for the gas, they accept credit cards for payment but their machine is very slow. Very small dirty store, the items on the bottom two shelves layers of dust on them. Lastly the parking lot is not paved, or was about 50 years ago. Pot holes everywhere, we were there when it was raining and there was standing water everywhere. Awful!

Pretty spooky looking place to drive up to on a dark night. Lot is full of monster potholes. Need much more lighting! Would give it 2 stars but may have run out of ⛽ if it hadn't been open.
