Went into store for a few items. Cokes were supposed to be 3/3$. Started to the clerk they did not come up right(he was new) so he got someone else to come look. Took his several minutes to find her(she was outside on the work phone) with a line of people waiting to check out.. She stated after he told me they came up for 1.90 not 1$ she states they all came up discounted. Got to the vehicle and left and checked, they DID NOT come up.. I then tried to call them(not bc I wanted my money back but to let them know it isnt going up on sale like advertised!) The know did not get picked up, went straight to voicemail passed back by and the lady is still sitting outside on the work phone taking a personal call!! This was atleast 45 min!! Terrible! Will never go back to Prospect DG

Understaffed!!! The poor cashier was struggling to keep up as she was the only one working to help a line of people wrapped around the store. You would think Dollar General would at least have someone else working with her with a hurricane blowing in.

I only live 4 miles from this store so I go there a lot. Its always clean stocked and has great recovery. Great staff and great Service.

Very disappointed in this Dollar Store I have shopped at Several of them around the area and ever since this one who's open right there at Prospect it is never served me public nor surrounding areas. Yes I do have all the same products as other dollar stores however the store is always cluttered because nothing ever gets put up there's never anyone at the cash register to wait on you and if there is there 1 person a about 15 or 20 people. Now I'm only a human being like other people but I'm also a assistant manager a different store and it's not a dollar store. But if I talk to all my customers the wages some of these young employees talk to their customers certainly would not be working at my store and I have talked to me that way also. The store needs to be completely shut down for three or four days and rehired completely new people at this store the people that I have their do not want to work and they will not open that store at 8 in the morning like they're supposed to I will stand there and wait anywere from 5 to 15 min. my opinion of this store is great on dollar store supplies but totally against the management and employees that work at that store This store is about 4 miles from my house in the same direction that I have travel every single day going to my work so it's convenient for me to stop there the other store is 5 miles in the opposite direction but the people there are friendlier more helpful busier they don't make you staying there at the register the one in dry prong store it all be promoted or get promotions because of the work that they do in the friendly service so you can give to their customers but the one by Prospect should be completely reworked as far as staff goes

The check out person is never at the register while you can see a manager in the office and they never come to check out customers. Today I go in to buy cokes the signs clearly say cokes are 3 for 11. The checkout person tells me that they are not on sale because it rang up for more so I show her the signs. She says well there is nothing I can do. I told her they should take down the signs. She say well we have to have all the signs out by 7. So does this mean if I would have waited till 7 ....20 mins later they would have honored they signs. I say this is just bad business. I will just start going to the other dollar general in dry prong. They are nicer and never make customers wait.

Since I live in the forest beyond the suberb of a small rural community. I often need something that just isn't worth the commute so having this store local is a big convenience. Great staff, clean store and best prices around 👍

Had a nice experience the last few times shopping at this store. The guy that checked me out at the register is nice and very helpful (and I'm sorry I don't have a name for him!) and the store is in a nice location for me and the family.
