I am all about supporting small businesses, but I advise you spend your money anywhere but here! We spent $70 in this store and the this owner of this store was so shockingly rude to us that we would of took the items back but did not want to deal with her agin! I have a very big family and we all have lots of babies. When I spoke to other family members who has also visited this store they said they had the same experience. Why be so rude without cause to paying customers? I don’t care if I was in desperate need of something from this store I would rather do without just because of who owns it and how she treats her customers. I do not usually leave reviews this is actually my first one ever but I felt like I needed to warn others who might go there and get same treatment as me and so many others has got! Update First of all even if I did tell my own sister-in-law that I can get something cheaper somewhere else why would that offend you I wasn’t speaking with you I was speaking with her. And Obviously like I’ve told you before you miss heard what I was saying but for future reference when customers are speaking amongst each other you should stay in your place unless they speak to you. And funny how you would say that we could return an item when my cousin said she bought a pair of shoes and tried to return them the very next day and was not able to. I’m not the first customer to get on here and leave a bad review about you and your store. Maybe try being a little kinder to paying customers next time!!

Great shoe selection and I’ve finally found somewhere with cute options for my son 🙌🏻 It’s so hard to find cute clothes for boys and they had some great options. Highly recommend!

Heed the warnings from the other customers that received sub par customer service from here and go to Bob’s Little Feet in Baton Rouge for shoes. Totally got bad vibes from this ‘children’s boutique’ I had literally been so excited to be pregnant and get to shop at this store for my little girl and her first pair of shoes, since it’s local and so close to our house. That was ruined when the 2 girls in the store at the time barely looked up from their phones when I walked in one day to browse. I stood at the shoe wall and looked for a few minutes, and no one offered any help. I really don’t mind paying the extra cost that smaller businesses have to charge sometimes, but with that, I do expect customer service, which unfortunately Ethan’s Closet, you lack. If business is slow, maybe that’s why?

Update: I went back after I got over my first experience there and they were friendly and helpful. They have a selection of stuff that you just don't find most places. I like to shop local to keep our town thriving and that's why I gave them another chance. It was worth it! Just another example of horrible customer service by people who want a paycheck to do nothing! Went in yesterday morning found a little fur shoe that I wanted for my neice. Last pair but she couldn't find the matching shoe so she took my name and number to call me when she found both shoes and a price. She called me 15 minutes before they closed that night and said she had them and would put my name on them so I could pick them up today. Well I was excited so I hurried on over there last night but they had just closed. So I went back today and.............THEY SOLD THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE! The girl who I actually talked to was hiding in the back and wouldn't come out. 1 star rating is way too high. Update- The owner promptly addressed the situation. She contacted me and said she was trying to rectify the problem. I appreciate the effort she has put forth so I've increased my rating.

The staff was very helpful and polite. I purchased Mardi Gras clothing for both my girls and I was very excited to find clothes a like considering the eight years difference.

Purchased a shoe yesterday at 2pm for my daughter, which didn't fit her foot (basically put it on her foot and took it off literally 5 seconds). Went to return them this morning, after waiting an hour past their opening time, for them to show up and finally open the store. She then decides to place garbage liners in the cans before helping customers. I tell her I had been waiting since 9:45am and she had the audacity to tell me "no I wasn't that she passed at that time and no one was here"!!! Really...Ask the other 4 people who tried to open the door at 10am if I was there, you weren't there till 10:55!! Then once I get there she tells me she can't take the shoe back because it looks worn...really because I literally put it on her foot and off...that's it. She said "I can't sell this shoe now". I asked her why not it was sold to me in that condition, she said "the bottoms don't look worn but my child's foot must have been oily because the outsides were dirty". I was floored. Those who know me and my OCD know my child isn't oily. Needless to say after her calling me a liar on many levels I basically wasn't leaving till they exchanged my shoe and it was finally done!! FOR THE RECORD THOSE SHOES WERE SOLD TO ME IN THE CONDITION THEY WERE IN AND IT INFURIATES ME THAT YOU WOULD SAY I'M NOT TELLING THE TRUTH MULTIPLE TIMES. IF YOU PERSONALLY DIDN'T SELL ME THE SHOE AND LOOK AT IT THEN YOU CANNOT SAY IT WASN'T SOLD TO ME IN THAT CONDITION !! She then told me "I should have inspected the shoe before I purchased it". I didn't look at the shoe in the box I only ordered what usually fits my child expecting to get a new shoe. I even offered to bring my child back and show her how small the shoe was that there's no way she could have worn them. She didn't care. All she knew was she was right and I was lying. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR IN THIS STORE AND WILL ALSO POST ALL OVER MY FB SO EVERYONE IS WARNED.
