I called to speak with someone about getting a rabies vaccine administered for my 14 yr old daughter. Was told that they had it and I could come right in. Even gave me the address in which I wrote down in my notes. Upon getting there, the lady tried to argue with me and tried to tell me that I called about a Covid vaccine. I know what I called about. And instead of the lady saying I’m sorry I must have misunderstood you still tried to tell me that I called about something that I know I did not do. I see now why they have a two star rating across-the-board. They are very unprofessional they are including the pharmacist. Will not ever be going back there again. I know what I called for! Would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. I was downright disgusted with their attitudes and the way they acted there.

I walked in one morning to get my prescriptions. A down-on-his-luck guy walked in after me and asked for a bottle of water. Its August and scorching hot. A Walgreens employee (older woman with long gray hair) told him “No, get out! Go somewhere else.” She was so rude. I immediately bought a bottle of water and ran to give it to the man outside. When I returned to do my shopping, this woman rudely told me “don’t ever do that again.” I told her that if I wanted to use my own own money to buy someone a water I would do so. She rudely told me “well you can go shop somewhere else too. Don’t come back.” I am shocked that someone so rude and horrible can work here. I will never come back. Not to mention, the pharmacy is always delayed when I come.

Says they open at 6 but it was 7:30 and the doors were locked. An hour and a half later!!

Pharmacy service sucks!!! Almost 45 min. In drive through just to pick up a prescription. Line inside was just as long and I am disabled and can't stand that long. Vivid testing should be done at a hospital or clinic, not a pharmacy. It takes entirely too long and people need their prescriptions

Pharmacy staff tells ppl they don't have time to do their jobs. They do not send refill requests electronically even tho the government specifically set up the system to do so. I have been telling my patients to switch to small locally owned pharmacies and they are 😁

I try to stimulate the economy especially here in Lake Charles i like to see people working, but the people working don't like to see me and it aint even busy. In the past months I have purchased $700 in gift cards from walgreens from work. Bonuses... the customer experience is flabbergasted. Last time I went in and a manager knew I was waiting on it and went to lunch. Today, the manager does not see my order in het tracker and I called customer service , worse experience and they weren't foreign. The customer service lady saw it and advised me to tell the manager that would not take the order number to call help desk. Wouldn't that be a protocol. So now I am sitting with a pickup in process... no one knows nothing. Are they stealing? I will from now on use Walgreens as least as possible. I was trying not to use the less expensive Walmart nor the more convenient Amazon

I’ve called to check on a prescription and was told it will be ready within 30 mins. My husband left work and drove all the way across town to pick it up for me. He was told it would be done in a few mins, he waited almost an hour for them to say they only had some of the prescription so my husband asked for the partial refill and then they said they don’t have the medicine at all. I’ve now been on the phone for 3 hours and have been hung up on 7 times! And it’s not like I deserved it. I couldn’t even get in more then 3 words of what the issue was and I tried to contact the manager and they keep hanging up without answering.

VERY unprofessional, called to have them transfer a prescription over and also asked if two other prescriptions had been transferred from another doctor and they said no so i wasn’t worried about that one cause i didn’t really need it right away. I called them again later to make sure they had the first prescription transferred over and they said yes it was ready. Got there and paid a higher price than usual and got to my car and realized it was the prescription that they said was not transferred over, i called them and asked them why i did not get the prescription i NEEDED and called to have them transfer over and they tell me “oh they never answered we left a voicemail and they didn’t call back” and yet no one ever called me to tell me this information??? so i paid a high price for a prescription i didn’t even need anymore because it was transferred over so late .. Only thing good about my experience here was that the lady that checked me out was nice .

I don't even think this store deserves a star p.e.r.i.o.d. How can a pharmacy decide to not give someone medication to ease the discomfort of losing their Mom, grandmother and grandfather and dealing with the first holiday.. My insurance company approved it. My doctor approved it. The Pharmacist decided to withhold from 2 days before Christmas. I was supposed to get it filled today until this morning I got a text saying they were out of stock.... WOW..JUST.. WOW!!!!! Way to drop the ball on your peace. I will be switching after today. NO ONE should EVER have to suffer when already dealing with so much. I made it through Christmas but it could have been so much better for my children!!!
