My husband and I went into this Cumberland Farms on Main st in Lewiston this morning around 6:35-6:45. We visit this store often and always usually have great customer service. Today I stood at the food service counter, for over 5 minutes which is not the issue, the issue is, I wasn’t even acknowledged, she kept making eye contact but nothing of I’ll be right with you, or at least even a hello! I then went to the front counter and asked the other woman working with the colorful hair, I said may I please get a slice of the breakfast pizza, as I’ve been standing over there and she’s yet to acknowledge me, even after making eye contact. She then got rude told me I could have used the kiosk, which is hardly seen if I wanted the process to be easier and that “it’s not that hard!. I simply said I’ve worked customer service many years and it’s rude not to acknowledge your customers, as a customer service rep, she then said I could have addressed her! That’s NOT MY JOB, it’s yours to address or at least acknowledge your guest. I then said I would contact the manager and she told me to “fuck off” as I was walking out the door, which my husband heard, I did not! You’ve lost us as customers. We visit daily.

June 20, 2022 save yourself some time before you travel to this Cumby’s. I understand the labor shortage but when you are posted open 24 hours on the web and 5 AM to 10 PM on your doors yet at 6 AM you’re still not open You are disrespectful to your customers.

Went in to grab a few red bulls, the cashier didn’t even acknowledge me or say a single word to me until the transaction was finished, because she was in the middle of a conversation with one of her friends, after the transaction was completed her friend coincidentally happened to leave the store at the same time, so when I was finally able to get a word in and ask for a bag, she said that it’s going to cost me 5 cents (I don’t keep change on me, and had to use debit) then she had the nerve to tell me “you should’ve asked for a bag before you bought them!” To which I replied “I couldn’t get a word in because you were talking to your friend and didn’t even interact with your customer” I don’t know her name, but she has red hair, piercings, and looks like a goblin from Lord of the Rings. I love Cumbys, but the staff in this store have absolutely no clue what customer service is.

I stopped here to grab a few waters but for some reason my card that works perfectly everywhere else kept reading on the one scanner as having an "invalid pin" so I let two men cut in front of me while I downloaded smartpay again as I had just upgraded to a new phone and didn't have all of my apps re-downloaded yet. The second man in line asked the cashier to add my stuff to his and insisted he pay (I told him it was fine and I had smartpay anyways so he didn't have to) he wanted to pay still then she said "She can pay for her own." And he insisted again then she replied with "I have a different one rung up for her." So he asked her to delete it and scan the drinks to his and she seemed highly upset that he paid for my stuff and she left to the back without offering either of us bags or saying a word. Just so it's clear, it was the older (possibly middle aged) cashier with grey hair.

Most times it's a great place to stop and grab what you need on the road. I go there about 5 times a week. Only had one issue and that was May 12, 2021 at around 12:05pm where I'd forgot my mask in the car. The cashier was very rude and disrespectful about about me not wearing one. Not politely asking once for me to take one from the counter be rudely demanding me to put one on. At that point I refused she took the items i was purchasing and removed them from the counter and told me "you can leave". Needless to say I will no longer be going to that store.

I was here the other day. Looked around got a coffee and left. The store seemed clean to I. The workers are polite, Dressed well, and clean. I recommend the coffee. Not just because of the price but the taste. You add ya own sugar and cream, or mix the flavors.. Any who the store looks great. I love the location.
