Had my car for over a week to do an airbag recall. Ended up breaking my airbag control module (new costs around $1k to replace) and later stated it wasn't their fault and that the airbag light was on when I brought it in, which it wasn't. Would not advise any one to go here, ever.

Friendly folks that want to do the job right for you. I came in suspecting that my alternator was bad. The mechanic confirmed that it was the case and the got me in and out in just a little over 2 hours (also got an oil change). He noticed that I had some issues with some of the lights as well and took care of it. The alternator was pricey ($260) and the labor was $78/hr. The car (2004 Saab 9-3 ARC) is running as it should now though.

Highly Recommended! We looked everywhere for my Son's first car. For the price, nothing compared to the beautiful Saab we bought from Lewis. Mary and her crew were super friendly and very easy to work with. We went to Lewis Automotive on the recommendation of a few friends. Glad we did. It was a great experience and a great car. It's no wonder they have been around for so long and maintain a great reputation.

I have been doing business with Lewis Auto for over 25 years. In that time, I purchased 3 vehicles from them. They have incredible service and have always been able to get me taken care of. Started out with Dick and Mary and now Mary. Good folks, personalized service, knowledgeable repair. They service all my SAABs no matter where I buy them. Worth the drive from Standish/Gorham to deal with fair people who do what they say they will do.

This is my first time owning a Saab.. Have taken my 2004 Saab to Lewis Auto Sales a few times.. Lewis Auto is knowledgeable..very fair priced.. I live in Portland, and they are worth the drive and time to get my car to the right place for repair. .There is a car rental place across the street so you don't have to get stranded. Trusting a car repair place is a hard thing for me...been burned before.. I trust Mary,the owner. She is kind, fair, and she and her staff have done great preemptive maintenance on my car..They know the quirks of Saabs. I am hoping to keep this car on the road many more years..
