Visited the Tribune bookstore in Norway for the first time this morning. I was there to purchase some books as my vacation stash was low. I had heard positive things about this store. Unfortunately when I got there I walked in with a young author who was there to see what the process was to potentially have their book on the stores shelves. Now I understand I have a soft spot for budding authors or anyone who creates. The owner could have simply just said "no thank you" or possibly try later. Instead she began to berate this poor gentleman in front of his daughter. In my opinion, after pouring your heart and soul into a project, being rejected in this way is hurtful. Obviously this store owner doesn't value the creative process which has managed to keep their business afloat in a time when it is just as easy if not easier for these independent authors to sell online. Which we know what online sales have done to physical book stores. I left and I will not shop there. As a family who spends an immense amount on books each year I will direct my business to places that respect the creators as well as the readers.

The Tribune book store in downtown Norway is absolutely excellent with its wide range of genres and titles, toys, books and games for the young set and gift items and unique cards for all. Adrian, the owner, is so pleasant and helpful, and will place orders that arrive in a timely manner. I love this store. Hurray for independent bookstores!

Went in this store this summer not sure what I wanted to read. It was close to closing time but we weren’t rushed. I finally asked the owner if she had any recommendations and she was very helpful suggesting a few books that I hadn’t read yet. Owner was very nice, store is organized store, looking forward to going back.

The nicest lady works here. Helped me find post cards to mail back home and gave me a recommendation on the bakery next store. Great store and customer service!

Great small-town bookstore. Truly a downtown staple. Very good selection of books, will order anything not currently in stock, and has a selection of local goods and gift items.

A cozy and friendly bookstore worth visiting. The proprietress has been friendly every time I've visited, and they've got lots of other curios and stationary to check out.

I love that we still have a small town bookstore right on Main Street. The owner is friendly and caring, she remembers your name even if you haven't visited in months. Always a warm greeting when you walk through the door. There are a variety of trinkets, toys and other items in addition to the books. Support your local businesses like this one!

Very disrespectful and condescending owner. Acts nice but is really like the evil teacher in Harry Potter who acts nice but inflicts harm upon the children. Customer service is non existent and interrupts individuals who are simply trying to explain to her what she simply asked to hear. With such terrible service and terrible hours I would not be surprised if her business was a front for concealing nefarious activities. However I have no proof so I can't say for sure. Nonetheless half those businesses on that street are never open but seem to be thriving. How does one stay in business if they're hardly ever open. Makes ya wonder. Anyway in short stay home and order off the internet. Way better service, way better prices. God bless y'all peace out.

My favorite place to get books for me and my family! They are always wicked sweet and friendly, and will help you find any book your looking for, and if they are able to order it they will get it in for you! I would highly recommend this book store.

Great for all ages, local bookstore, clean, well run and fairly priced. Worth a quick visit or a long visit to enjoy some reading and comfortable chairs! Friendly place.
