I have had nothing but positive experiences with H&B! I love supporting local, family-owned businesses as well!! My first experience was when I heard water dripping from inside of my wall. I had a contractor open the wall up for me and he noticed the plumbing issue. Since this home was going to be on the market soon, I needed to get this issue fixed quickly. My realtor contacted H&B for me while I was at work and they got me in the very next day. The technician even sent me pictures of where the leak was coming from and what the issue was. It was nice to see the before and after photos so I could see the work that was completed. The technician did this while I was at work as well. I didn't even need to be there!! I left him a key and he stayed in contact with me the entire time!! My second experience came a few weeks after. My toilet would leak when flushed. I went to the office to schedule this appointment and they were able to schedule me right away to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the owner (Gregg) and he was very friendly and professional. It's nice to see an owner that's fully involved in his business!! My third experience (and hopefully my last because no one wants plumbing issues...lol), was for a toilet that when flushed would not stop running. When I was at the office previously, I did mention to the owner that one of my toilets won't stop running after being flushed. He gave me his direct cell # and said to send him pictures of the inside of the tank and he would help me diagnose it. Upon sending him pictures, he said I just needed a new flapper and it was an easy fix. He volunteered to come to my home himself and fix it for me. He did not charge me because he said "I spent enough already!". It's nice to know a business that will not nickel and dime you! I would recommend H&B for all your plumbing needs!!

H & B installed a new split for my upstairs of my home with a wifi thermostat. The technician was fantastic and friendly, the were punctual, neat about their work, craftsmanship was excellent, and they were done on schedule. The AC works fantastic, I would recommend H & B for all your HVAC needs, and the price was exactly what I was quoted. Service: HVAC duct & vent installation

H&B came to my home on a Saturday to replace my sump pump. The pump had failed after torrential rains and filled my basement with water. The mechanic, Randy, was efficient, punctual and courteous. It was an outstanding job! I cannot say enough good things about their service!

We had yearly maintenance done on our boiler and water heater. A couple small issues were identified. Dan explained how the boiler and water heater worked, safety issues, and maintenance ( went from electric and oil to gas). He was timely, efficient, and cleaned up after himself.

Hi, my name is Lyn. Recently, I had a v. good experience with H&B Plumbing. I had two issues-one major, and one minor. The minor issue was there was a small leakage (no clog) in the sink drain, of a bathroom. (It was getting a bit of water onto my stuff below the sink.) (It was fixed.) Also, for free, he kindly helped me install my new air filter (into the Br.) Then, he fixed a HVAC leakage issue for me, and tested it for safety, twice after it was re-sealed (to prevent leakages). The person I had, (__n) was excellent--diligent, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, patient. I don't understand the previous (-) review (by some1 else in Wilmington), so that's why I'm leaving this review (in recompense), to help out H&B. (Also, it was a good price, only $250.)
