My husband and I stayed one night in the marina on our cruise south from Maine. Overall, the marina was nice enough with convenient and clean facilities. There was a brief misunderstanding with dock staff when we arrived, but they were quick to make it right. We had read many glowing reviews about the food and dock-side service. I called the restaurant, explained that I was a guest in the marina and asked if we could have food delivered to our boat. The staff member said "absolutely" and proceeded to take my order. At the end of the call, I was told that it could be picked up inside. Confused, I reiterated my request to have it delivered to our boat and was told that I would have to come inside. Tired and unwilling to push the matter, I asked my husband to walk the very short distance from our boat to the restaurant and get our pizza. When he entered, it took a few minutes for any staff member to acknowledge his presence, despite several servers standing around chatting right next to him. When he indicated that he was picking up a carry out ordered, the staff member grabbed our pizza from the service window, muttered about needing to check something and walked back into the kitchen with our order. Several minutes later, she emerged with our pizza and a slip of paper to be signed for the pick-up order. By the time my husband walked the short distance back to our boat, the pizza was barely warm. It was still a good pizza, however, the poor level of service definitely ruined the whole experience for us.

Service was awesome and the food was good! There is a really great view of the bay from the restaurant. I had an old fashioned and it was one of the best I have had in a while. With that being said, I think it’s fair to warn people that the parking is valet only? I could be wrong. I didn’t try very hard but, from what I can tell, it’s valet only. You will need to park somewhere close by if that is not your jam.

Excellent location, right on the water, cool atmosphere. The food was really good. The crab bisque was a hit for our entire table. I really enjoyed the drinks. Our server was really good and handled the big group effortlessly. Would definitely return.

I’ve been to this place quite a few times and they are always great consistently. Whether it’s lunch, happy hour, dinner, a birthday or a date they always gave me an excellent experience. The food is great and not too expensive (but expensive lol). I made a valentines reservation and asked them for something romantic, they opened the banquet room and set up a table by the window overlooking the bay. Candlelit and all. I love this place honestly.

So the Mrs and I decided to enjoy some great food and drinks with live music. This small town by the water has this restaurant as a hidden gem. We normally dine inside for dinner, but the Tiki Bar looks like our Summer Love. Great food mixed awesome people

Beautifully remodeled right before COVID. The seats are velvet and very soft! We sat at the bar and had Prime rib and the jalapeño cheeseburger. Tommy, the bartender, has been working there for 15+ years and is very knowledgeable. The stairs out in front are currently waiting for their new railings, so don't be deterred by the plywood railings that are up now!

A very nicely decorated and elegant restaurant on the water, with great views. Plenty of parking, and is also a short walk from other parts Chesapeake City. It has plenty of window space, giving a ton of natural light. The staff was really nice, including our waiter. They had our waiter covering the bar and multiple tables, which did lead to some confusion around our ticket, but not his fault. I had the Black and Bleu burger, and thought it was very good. They also have sushi, which is reasonably priced compared to your average sushi spot. Overall, the meal was good, we paid what you might expect for restaurant, and staff was nice.

Wow! They remodeled. It's very elegant but, the lighting is a little brighter. We prefer the more romantic, rustic aura. It's very nice and it won't keep us from returning. We'll know what to expect. The menu has been upgraded to "out-of-this-world" and the chefs live up to it. I never had more lump crab meat in my life without actually ordering it. It was good, fresh and clean crab too. The starters and entrees were perfect. The new sushi menu was a surprise and she had the ocean roll. Very good quality and flavor! I want to write more but, getting long. Two critiques: the raw oysters were not up to above standard and the meal was slightly rushed even after requesting time between courses. The crab bisque was fabulous...I know my bisques.

Chesapeake Inn is always a great idea and good time! Their food is fresh and absolutely delicious, their staff are all wonderful, and there's a million dollar view. Adam was our waiter yesterday and we greatly appreciated his service and great attitude. Unfortunately, I did get the Lady bartenders name; however, she made the BEST creamy Espresso Martini I've ever tasted!! ☕🍸 I highly recommend Chesapeake Inn!

I recently held my Moms Celebration of Life in the ballroom. From start to finish, the experience was positive and seamless. Lindsey, the event planner, was amazing to work with and extremely responsive. She made everything easy. The menu options were great and reasonably priced. They provided everything I needed to have a wonderful event, video and audio capabilities, social distanced tables, and everything we talked about was done 100% correctly on the day of. The buffet was absolutely delicious! My guests were so happy and impressed. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. The ballroom was gorgeous and includes an outside balcony with a great view of the boats and water. I would definitely recommend it for anyone planning a special event.
