Really fun general store. They have what you need and even more items that you never knew that you did! Everything from old-fashioned candy to snacks, camping gear, clothing and so much more. I lost an hour of my life and some money! Lots of fun.

Lots of floor space for this store! I simply wanted some candy and found plenty to choose from that is sold by the pound. Got a small bag of cinnamon gummy bears that were really tasty and fresh. Didn't really need anymore outdoor adventure clothing, but, there is plenty to choose from if needed. This store fits well with King Street and is good for Boone.

Cool spot in downtown Boone to shop and admire what a wide selection of “stuff” occupies shelf space in a general store. Grabbed a bag full of candy and didn’t feel bad about it.

We love visiting the Boone Mast General Store! We can always find things we want or need!😉 Tried on several pairs of shoes but they did not have the size we needed unfortunately. They were nice enough to check the Valle crucis location but supplies seem to be delayed everywhere. Still, my favorite go-to shop for clothes for work and outdoor activities. We always love the visit. Thanks!

I'm going to be the odd one out and be seriously disappointed by this place. When I read the history, I was excited to see a vintage store, maybe with some original peices on display. Just something showing its past. Instead it's a glorified tourist attraction with everything you can buy at any other store in the mall. Downstairs is women's clothing and candy by the pound. Upstairs is men's clothing and various "stuff". I did enjoy that you could take your dog in. Very crowded though. If you're going down to Boone, the street it's on is super cute. It gives off that old time, small city vibe. Free parking on the weekends too. Overall, thanks to the owners for keeping the facility going, but maybe one day set up a spot to educate out of towners on the store history.

Always a bit of an adventure. Lots of camping gear, but also clothing for men and women, lots of old-timey kitchen tools, hats, knives, rocking chairs, even barrel candy like the stores of old. And high-quality throughout.
