Worst dollar general and the worst employees. Beyond Rude forno reason. Thank God they just temporarily closed right in my face. Serves you right. 🤬🤬 probably wouldn't have to close if you would find better employees!!

One of the worst Dollar General stores I have been in. Was there over the weekend and there was so much unopened merchandise up and down every aisle that you could not get thru and it was difinitely a very serious fire hazard!

Randomly closed midday. No signs up employees inside chilling. Plus compared to the other dollar generals this one is disaster.

Its rather small store but pretty much the same merchandise as any of the dollar generals, it's nice no real complaints about it.

Other than the inconsistent hours, the employees are pretty helpful. For little things it is a okay place to go.

I have always loved this place. It is essentially a small, secluded park dedicated to growth of WNC and the railroad. The grass has been higher than usual this summer, probably due to the weather. A nice place for a sunny day picnic with the family or just enjoy some peace and quiet. It is a special treat when the weather is really cold!

Some of the ppl that work there are extremely nice & helpful but it’s the Dollar General coupon app is the reason for the 1 star. I never get all the credit for the coupons I select and when I mention this to the cashier she just says there is nothing she can do. So why even have the app if your not going to give the credit for the coupons? I feel It’s just a scam! I haven’t been to a Dollar General in a few weeks. I’m trying to find other stores that are honest in what they advertise!

So, to be honest most DG's are staffed by people who obviously don't want to be there. I'm not judging them, but it's the case. This one, however, is staffed by friendly people who actively check to make sure you're finding what you need. It's kind of hidden,but worth looking for.

Both dollar general stores have dirty milk cartons. Yuck. Sometimes milk from there goes bad before the expiration date. One time I told the women at the one on tunnel Rd near tunnel in Asheville that milk was dirty. It was still dirty next time I went. They said thanks did nothing. All three women there would stand outside and talk every time I went there. Their stock would be in the aisles and it was hard to get through. They talked to each other. No wonder milk goes bad. It probably sits in the aisle with everything else. Milk from Aldi lasts a month AFTER expectation datE. DOLLAR GENERAL IS always dirty. I don't know why people go there. A DOLLAR GEneral Manager at another store told me the prices are sometimes higher than Ingles. I love Dollar tree and everything is neat and clean and Aldi and Ingles are very clean. Everything I get from Dollar GENERAL is junk. I'm on a fixed income and live near dollar general so I go and regret it. I went to Dollar general at River Ridge and tunnel Rd. The one at River Ridge was cleaner and better stocked but milk was dirty. I hate throwing out milk with a good exp date because it's bad. I can clean the milk.jug

There is a young man that works here by the name of Mark. He is truly a Angle On Earth. I visited the store on May 31st and he was helpful,respectful, made me smile and most of all he wasn't afraid to ask me if he could pray with me when he found out why I was in town. GOD BLESS THIS YOUNG MAN and may he continue to let your light shine through him. Dollar General good call hiring this young man!
