The service was outstanding, both my wife and I got the crab leg steamer pots and they were outstanding. Don't let the casual appearance of the establishment fool you, it is well worth the visit.

As a visitor I was told this was the place.. NOPE... I waited over a hour for my food and over heard a employee by the name of Mary totally disrespecting and embarrassing a what looked liked a minor coworker. I wasn't going to leave a review however if that was my child. I would want someone to say something. Here at least 6 times a year and will not put my money here ever again. I hope that young lady found another job. She deserves better then what she got

I visited this place because Crisfield was supposed to be the home of the finest fresh seafood. First red flag should have been, there were no customers, except myself and another camper that came with me. I've never been so disappointed in a crabcake before, it reminded me of a Red Lobster biscuit. Very little crab meat, too much filler, no hint of old bay at all, the texture of the crabcake was mushy. The absolute best part of the meal was the salad, the pickled beets were from the can. I personally would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. It was a waste of my 34$

Crab cake open face sandwich was amazing. Salad with jerk chicken was good. Turkey Hill ice cream was a great way to finish.

The food was pretty good, and staff were nice and very attentive. Their crab fries were generously portioned; the crab balls and soup less so. We ordered some crab cake sandwiches which were tasty, but the difference between fried and broiled is not clear. All that being said, the food is REALLY expensive relative to what you're getting, and they also messed up our take out orders (first forgot to make one altogether, then gave us the wrong item - which we didn't ask to be fixed because we had been waiting so long and were starving. They also mixed up items between the three orders that were placed separately); and I just feel like if you're going to charge that much for food, the standard for accuracy and quality should be higher.

Old-time diner on one side and partial waterfront view on other. Friendly waitress. Watermans breakfast was good, but belgium waffle not worth ordering. Breakfast meats were all tasty. Also offered hand-dipped ice cream in a multitude of flavors that I look forward to trying on next visit.

Nestled in the small town of Crisfield, Waters Edge Cafe is a must stop when visiting or traveling down the Eastern Shore. The location has two dining areas, a more conventional restaurant as well as a retro themed restaurant with ice cream and soda fountains. The options of food were slightly more limited than other American food options in Crisfield, but the quality was excellent. The East Coast Reuben was particularly good, with melt in your mouth corn beef. The waitress and waiter who helped us that evening were respectful and very friendly. All in all, Waters Edge Cafe is an excellent Crisfield establishment. If you’re visiting Crisfield proper or simply passing by, stop in! You won’t regret it.

This is such a cute, well created, retro diner. Hidden in a small town, nestled near the Chesapeake Bay. While having a small meal I kept having thoughts of Leave it to Beaver, and The Andy Griffith Show, or American Graffiti.

Food was served quickly and hot. A bit too salty for us. Had to try the crab and was not disappointed. No alcohol sold.

The food was really good! I was a bit taken back by the stewed tomatoes as I had never had them with cinnamon but it was surprisingly yummy! The cornbread is delish, homemade southern style... wish I had the recipe. Crab cakes were amazing and not much filler and what little filler it had was very tasty. My husband loved his Rueben sandwich too. Our server (I’m terrible with names) was I believe Anna or Annie... anyway she was brand new and you would have never know it if I hadn’t thrown her a curveball with having a milk allergy. She checked the items for milk and was thorough. Very attentive and kind. Next time we come to Chincoteague area will stop in Crisfield just to have lunch here.
