I went for an oil change a few months ago and also asked them to make sure the tire pressure was good. When I came back, they informed me that the front two tires had a leak and fixed it (charged me for it). The problem however persisted. I took it back again today. They checked and now could not find the leak (they also could not find where the previous leak was plugged). They indicated they cannot fix it and they still charged me for doing the check. The problem is still there.

I have used Fort Washington Shell for projects big and small. Willy and Paco ensure speedy repairs, fair pricing, and all around great customer service. They have worked on both our foreign and domestic vehicles, Jeep Wrangler&BMW, without any issues. If you are local and need vehicle repairs or routine maintenance, Willy, Paco, and Staff will take care of all your needs at an affordable cost.

The mechanics were well trained and serviceF my car pretty quick and at a good price, I was honestly surprised by how efficient they did the job and in a timely manner.

Helped out in a pinch. But they took much longer than they originally said (over 24 hrs longer) and they seemed to not know the status of the car or who was working on it or when someone would get to it. The final price also seemed like they had jacked up labor to match the quote they'd given me earlier, when the fix was thought to include buying/replacing more parts. They seemed overworked given all the cars accumulating in parking lot. They were also messy, they forgot to replace a cap in the engine, had to go back and search for it.

Went there to get a tire patched and was told I needed a new tire, so I said okay no problem. I was told my tire would be in the next day and they would call me. I never received a call so I went by and was basically ignored. The mechanic was very rude and pretty much ignored me. He told me his boss was not here so he couldn't do anything to help me. I was livid cause at this time, they have my wheel. Called this morning and whoever answered the phone was pretty nonchalant. They are so rude and uncaring. It's ridiculous. They wont' even get my money for gas again.

Employees on the mechanic side are rude, and the owner/manager, Willie, will overcharge and cheat.. I lived in the neighborhood since before I could drive and trusted them, and have driven for over 10 years now. They are dishonest. Example, they changed my tires and somehow left my car battery on. My speedometer stopped working after my battery died; they quoted me roughly $200 for parts and labor and claimed it didn't do that before. When I got the battery jumped there, the gauges went out of whack. I Decided to get a second opinion found out it was already fixed and the issue was a brief electrical malfunction after checking online (hold the key turned in the ignition and the gauges reverse back around to the 0). They knew the problem, saw it was a quick fix and tried to drastically overcharge me. Things have been up and down with them but I thought "hey I am in the neighborhood." Now I know Willie is a cheat. Stick with gas here.

Can I give them ZERO stars? Went to Ft. Foote Shell today and had an awful experience. This place sucks. I went there for a Maryland inspection at 8 am. I was the first person there and I was told by the mechanic that it would be about an hour or hour and a half to complete. I said "cool, I'll wait." So after an hour of sitting and paying for coffee, I decide to leave because my car hasn't moved yet. I tell the mechanic to call me when he's done, he said ok. I go home run some errands, hang out. I call back at 1:45 and they say we are about to do it now. 3 hours go by so I call back at 4:30 and The guy tells me "oh yeah, it's been done for an hour." I drive up there to get my car back, and it took them 10 minutes just to get my keys. I should have known this place was a nightmare, just by the amount of cars that they had on the lot. Easily 20 to 30 cars. Big Red flag. If you like wasting an entire Saturday, go here. Epic Fail.

The mechanics didn't replace the oil in my vehicle correctly and my engine locked up a week later. Took it back to them and was told it was my fault and it would cost $3300 to replace it with an engine with 150,000 miles when I only had 85,000 miles on my original engine. They will rip you off so avoid them literally at all costs.
