I was fascinated by this place as a child. It's absolutely whimsical. Several years back, when I was small, I used to ask the floral arrangement staff if I could have a flower that was destined for the compost. The place is reminiscent of an English garden shoppe, lots of herbs, topiaries, statues, moss, and cut flowers. It's charming, subdued, earthy, and quaint, albeit rather uppity. Very unlike most modern nurseries. It's interesting to return as an adult. We didn't find what we were looking for but we enjoyed looking.

Probably the best garden center in MA. All the plants and flowers are specimen quality and theres allot of other really cool stuff. If you have never been here you will be pleasantly surprised. 2 thumbs up!

If you don't look like you can afford to shop there, don't expect any assistance. I am a handicapped woman and I was picking up a hanging basket for Mother's Day. I stood at the counter waiting to pay for 20 minutes, until an associate attempted to ring up another person. The customer had to point out that I had been there first and should be waited on. I paid for the basket and asked about care of the flowers. I got the basic "water and sun/shade" spiel and then asked for help getting it down from outside. I waited there for a half hour until (bet you guessed it!) another customer and her husband helped me get it down. I carried it to the car and took it home. It was dead two weeks later. The $10 hanging plants from Market Basket lasted all summer, but my $80 plant from Leonhard's was dead in weeks. I will not spend any more of my money here when I feel unwelcome and the employees are so uninterested in my business. I had been warned a few times that they were like that, but I am an eternal optimist and gave them a shot. Never again.

Great variety of plants and accent pieces for the garden and indoors. It looks small from the outside, but there is a surprising number of plants housed in the greenhouses behind the store, which you can browse. Plants are always healthy. Great fun to visit.

I love Leonard's! Its the perfect neighborhood garden center. The flowers and plants are beautiful and well cared for. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable and the plants are healthy so it's totally worth going compared to a home depot where the plants are half dead. I highly recommend you go check them out!!

I always love going into this shop. Not only are the flowers and gifts top notch, but the store itself is just impeccably arranged and designed. Always the best quality flowers, home goods, gifts, and a large seasonal selection in the greenhouse area. The floral arrangements are consistently breathtaking - the staff is so talented and creative, these bouquets and plants make great gifts for anyone.
