I bought the Riviera Cafe in Decemeber of 2004. The Riviera is not your average small town bar. With our wide beer selection on tap, and bartenders great ability to make any drink requested we call ourselves a cut above. The drinks are only matched by the great food selection we have ranging from great pizza to steak tips. In the words of one of our local critics " the riviera is so much more than the standard pub grub". As a local bar in Bridgewater Massachusetts we get a great group of customers ranging from all ages and walks of life. There is plenty of great entertainment at the RIviera..Thursday night Karaoke and great bands and Dj's Friday and Saturday nights.

$147…for what?.. Almost every plate we ordered had something wrong with it or wasn’t made to order. We ordered a gold fever sandwich with no blue cheese but substitute with ranch and extra ranch. We got blue cheese and no ranch. Ordered a goldfever wrap as is and it was good. Lots of blue cheese crumbles but I like that. Ordered Hot pastrami with mayo mustard (they didn’t carry provolone) got pastrami plain with no condiments on it at all. Ordered a turkey gobbler like wrap and it was good. Ordered a tuna blt and got a sandwich that I believe was old tuna and half jar of mayo. Had to throw away the tuna because of the smell. Asked for a “where’s the beef sandwich “ they didn’t have it anymore. The appetizer was halfway decent. Nachos supreme was good. The sampler is $21 and it’s advertised as serves 2 hungry people and ya it would if it were two toddlers and one of them was sleeping. Menu says “ask about our deserts” so we did. The response was “ we don’t have any” . My bill was $137. I picked it up and paid by card and gave a $10 tip. Environment looked friendly and comfortable but very disappointed in the food. Unreal..

First time here . Great food great vibes great employees and the owner even came by to say hello . Definitely give it a shot if you're in Bridgewater and looking for a good eat

Great menu and amazing draft beer selection. The food was delicious too. We got the Buffalo Bleu calzone and the Fish & Chips.

$16 dollars for 6 wings.. DO NOT GO HERE unless you’re a 35 year old white male or older. Also, I just paid $16 for 6 wings... Crazy. Don’t do it to yourself. Got to Barrett’s or Greyhound if you’re looking for a local vibe! Terrible service. Flava Jamaica 10 mins away will give you a whole plate for 13.99. Rice, jerk chicken, 1 or 2 sides. Just simply NOT WORTH IT

Great staff, great food! Mom had the Viking sandwich and finished every bite! I had the tossed salad with steak tips. Yummy! Only one small issue was not enough bayjrooms for the size of the establishment. We went for lunch and there was a wait for the bathroom. Hate to see a full house.

Great staff. Burgers are great, freshly made NOT a frozen pre-made burger. Half price pizza specials, lots of great sandwiches to choose from as well as appetizers.

The food/menu here is mediocre at best. The menu needs to be more creative. The bartending is subpar if you crave anything more than a cold beer.. I love to support local businesses whenever I can and only hoping this review works to improve the current status of how I have experienced my few visits here. Otherwise, it's your typical, local hole in the wall dive bar.

Had a late lunch at The Riviera Cafe' in Bridgewater (aka The Riv). Our sandwiches were a delicious Tuna Melt w/fries, Reuben w/onion rings (corned beef was really tasty, very lean and grilled perfectly) and the Massachusetts Slammer (piled extremely high turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce) w/fries. The sandwiches came out hot off the grill and we all commented on how delicious and hot it all was. Our server Ariana was not only friendly and very pleasant she was also knowledgeable on their beer selection and food questions we had. She worked very hard at serving and also helping working the bar. This is a great place and I would highly recommend giving it try.

Thursday 1/2 price pizza night, didnt know just lucked out. Had a scallop bacon, awesome. Bartender was wicked cool, always asked if I was having another Guiness before mine was a third done. Y'all know a Guinness needs time to pour.

This place might be my new favorite casual bar. Really regular place, good food, friendly people. Nothing fancy. I've gone back twice in one week! Can't resist the extensive beer selection. I highly recommend! @amp_eats (instagram)
