I have had very positive experiences with Midas in Dartmouth MA several times. I would like to quickly say that my most recent visit was to get new brakes. What I found to be so great was that I was wrong that I even needed new brakes, but instead of charging me for something I didn't need or doing unnecessary work, I was told that I didn't actually need them done. I found the honesty to be incredible. I drive a Subaru BRZ. It is the best car I have ever owned. So much fun to drive. Joe was very helpful! Went in because my coolant fans and an emission sensor was down, and they fixed it. Although my check engine light came back on two days after it was fixed, they took it back in and fixed the issue with no extra cost. Overall, very great service and very helpful.

I have been having car issues for an entire year with dealing with my local ford dealership. I took my car to Midas in Dartmouth, completely desperate and hopeless. This team, without any doubts or discouragement, patiently handled my vehicle and advocated for me. They were constantly in touch with me, they were confident they would get to the source of the problem while educating me with the process and not belittling me with my lack of education with car mechanics. Joes tone with me was enough to make me feel comfortable, he was genuinely sincere. He was empathetic and very kind. I cannot express the gratitude I have for this team. This has become my 'go to' for anything auto repair. I used to deal with the whole Chop Shop scene to save a buck / do the bare minimum, just to get from A to B. I would always end up going back, dealing with bad parts and shotty work. You really do get what you pay for. Now in my (slightly) wiser years, I don't mind spending a little more money (up front) for Warrentied parts and reliable work. I have always gotten along with the people working over there in the North Dartmouth store. James was always awesome and Joe is a really good guy. Parking can be a little tough, but that is because everyone here knows this spot is the best around... so my advice would be to call ahead (but not needed. They take walk/drive ins)

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is not only the best customer service I’ve received at a mechanic shop, but the best customer service I’ve received anywhere. I’ve always dealt with Jim since they opened this establishment and he always goes above and beyond to help out our young family. I noticed that my inspection sticker had expired, of course, late on Saturday afternoon. They were completely booked but after just a moment’s hesitation, Joe asked how far away I was from Midas and told me to come over and he’d have it done for me within an hour. Came in for a headlight repair and a squealing brake issue. They took care of the headlight, no problem and assured me the brake issue wasn't a safety problem. Even made an adjustment that got rid of the sound. Staff were friendly professional and straight forward.
