I have been to Nosh & Grog several times in the past and have had fine, if unspectacular, experiences there. This most recent time, however, was unacceptable. We put in our food orders around 6:45 pm and did not get our food until 8:15. An hour and a half wait for what is basically upscale pub food! We had to actively seek out our waiter to get updates, when he should have been proactively updating us. We received a half-hearted apology from the owner/manager and never heard another word from him. My friend ordered a simple Coke, and had to ask three times before finally getting his drink. The waiter did compensate us for three of our meals but only after we forcefully asked. The waiter or manager should have offered this immediately. I ordered the tacos and they were mediocre at best, alongside being lukewarm. The burgers and chicken sandwiches were better received, though my lactose intolerant friend got his burger with cheese despite asking for it without. I understand that staffing can be difficult but this was totally absurd. Don't seat as many people if you can't keep up with food and drink orders. The restaurant was very crowded and clearly did not have the staffing to keep up. Will not be visiting here again in all likelihood.

They are understaffed. We waited over an hour and a half for our food - three came out stone cold then the last one came out 25 minutes later. They were less than half full. Also some of their prices were outrageous - $18 for a 16oz canned beer? Wow.

Great place inside and out. Totally enjoy going there. Fish tacos are good, beer is great, atmosphere is excellent (I'm all about atmosphere).

$14 up charge for two shrimp. When asked if this was intentional, the manager via the waiter (the manager didn’t speak to us) told us it was and that they are gulf shrimp. Service was great, food was average, prices were ridiculous.

While visiting the area my buddy invited me out for a drink at Nosh and Grog. The inside of the building is really nice and decorated very well with appealing soft lighting. We sat at the bar and each ordered drinks and my friend ordered a lobster appetizer from the menu. I ended up trying a piece of the appetizer and was very impressed by the taste and quality. I ended up ordering a second drink that the bar tender had invented themselves. They sold me on it and I will definetly be back to order another round of that original drink. My friend and I didn't realize it was close to closing time but the staff had no problem letting us stay to finish our drinks and assured us there was no rush and to take our time to wrap up our conversation. The staff was quick and very friendly, and also have many good original ideas.

We ordered a few tacos for an appetizer, really fresh and delicious. We both had burgers for dinner, they were fabulous. Needless to say, we left very full and can’t wait to come back!

I've been there 3 times. The first for a couple beers and a quick bite, the quick bite was great so I went back 2x for dinner. Tragically somewhere between February and May the food seems to have gone horribly wrong. My previous dinner was great, last night the shells were cold (seriously cold to the touch) and everything inside suffered because of it. Two of three dishes were missing ingredients on the menu. The staff are pleasant and the beer selection is solid & the avocado bites were great - unfortunately everything else was uninspired - I'll be eating elsewhere.

Came here for dinner with my wife in a whim since we live a town over now. The staff was great and we ended up getting a couple drinks and sharing apps, dinner, and dessert.

Good food and outdoor patio area (dog friendly). Had 3 of the 4 taco options (cevice, pork belly, crispy cauliflower) and they were great but a hair over dressed. I wanted the flavor of the main part of the taco to stand out (eg cauliflower). Great service and cold beer... I'll be back.

Got the chicken sandwich. First thing I noticed is that it was huge. Started eating and realized that it’s two chicken thighs pressed together then fried. There was raw batter in between the thighs because of this. Gross. I should add the positives. Herb fries are amazing and well seasoned. Big Nosh burger was delicious as my wife had one tonight.
