Try to avoid Massachusetts if possible. Not just exclusive to this service plaza, I meant this comment for Massachusetts entirely, with the exception of passing through it. New Hampshire seems to be on the same trend though. I guess passing through these states is the sacrifice you have to endure to reach the tranquility of Maine(maybe not so much in the winter months). Still seems like getting snowed in and unable to safely drive a semi out of Maine is not that bad, as long as you are getting paid by your company a flat daily pay rate in addition to an expanded per diem rate to compensate you for following their strict safety policies. Just be sure you have stocked up on food, water, and other supplies. And if your per diem pay isn’t very satisfactory, make them reimburse you for those items as they are products purchased for the truck, and by extension, you are technically part of the truck. If they give you that line “why is it necessary for us to reimburse you for a case of water”, you counter with, “can my truck safely function without me?”, then “and am I able to drive and function at 100% while being dehydrated?”. There isn’t much they can say after that since you would be stating it is all in the name of safety. Any recourse or consequences would put the company in direct violation of FMCSA regulations 390.6 and/or 392.3.

I am being very generous with 2 stars the men's room very dirty the comodes wedirty doesn't appear to have been cleaned that day only one stallwas very dirty and the toilet was stuffed up and dirty on the floor and the second stall had no signs of any paper to clean ones self up after using the commode by that I refer to as very little left on the roll. No sign of anyone around who was responsible for cleaning the bathroom or the ladies room.

A nice place to take a break from a long trip. The food was nice enough and the bathrooms were clean. Can't really ask for more. It doesn't have to be said but generally avoid getting gas at these rest stops as the prices are always higher than if you go into any town.

Fix the mens bathrooms!!!!!!!! Nothing like puddles flowing between your feet everywhere anytime someone flushes. Disgusting. Half the faucets don't work and one sink doesn't drain. So it's full of gross water. And the place is always an absolute mess.

Not bad place to jump off 128 get gas, a coffee, gum, or a burger. Bathrooms were fairly clean but not all fixtures were working. Say a Hail Mary before getting on 128 again!
