Was dreading the visit given the reviews but honestly it was a wonderful experience even if you ignore low expectations. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful in suggesting the right box size, helpful in suggesting technique to fit my stuff into the box, and overall just extreme patient with a guy who was entering USPS premises after nearly 20 years. Thank you ma’am !

Rude associate. No customer service. So now we process all of the orders and mail on our own. No one answers the phone and who knows, maybe soon we will have to pay for delivering the mail ourselves.

This office has lost my package on several occasions esp after moving. During the Covid times, they didn't even take a customer's signature and handed the package off to who knows~ I get is part of protocol to not interact but at least it would make sense to leave a signable note on the doors so that people can pick them up from the office. The first time it was discovered that the package was delievered to the wrong address, the second time package was likely miss-delievered as I didn't receive it and it was a high value item that I can no longer be compensated for. The third time it was supposed to be forwarded to my new home address, but instead it was "disposed of". I lived in Auburndale for a long time, but in the last few years the quality of the service here and decisions made have gone down hill. Update* My insurance claim got denied and since writing this review.... USPS has not been helpful in finding my package or helping me with the claim. Cannot imagine how much of an impact this must have on the economy if all the local USPS shops are just tossing things out and sending them to the wrong places during covid..... Not taking a signature should be a serious offense, someone paid to have a signature signed.... Without proper signage a package would end up in the wrong hands... at least leave a note saying to pick it up at the post or something..... this whoever came up with the covid signing protocol was a real dingus.... Rip $1000s of equipment...

I'm sorry but an 8:30AM opening time on weekdays seems lazy. Every other post office is open by 8, some by 7:30. Would really be helpful to be open as everyone's morning starts.

The people who gave 1 star here on Google looks like a spam, wouldn't trust them. Have been using this place over 5 years, always friendly staff, thank you guys for providing a great service for locals!

Rude associates; went in with 5 minutes to spare before closing and was rushed and treated like an inconvenience (close the door at 4:20 if you don't want to deal with last minute people, you're in the service industry). When I returned the next day to fix something I had messed up the previous day, I told the clerk about how I was so frustrated with my mistake, totally owning the situation. As I'm telling her the story, the woman from the previous day came out from the back and says, "You should have just come back and not rushed, see what happens? I was thinking that the whole time in my head." Great customer service, thanks for the advice. I then went out to my car to grab something to return inside after about 2 minutes to find all of the clerks talking about me and my situation and saying, "there you go, Karma will get you..." Will not be back to this location out of pure shock that the service was SO bad two separate times I was in there.
